Washi is a style of paper from Japan that is made by hand in the traditional manner. It is made of natural fibers commonly from the bark of the gampi tree, mitsumata shrub, or mulberry. However, washi also can be made using bamboo, hemp, rice and wheat. Our Washi Masking Tape is not only strong, but the decorative designs are attractive as well. Use these tapes for decorating your planner or calendar, tape up your photos or decorate your photo album with them, or use them for gift wrapping purposes. These tapes are also great for scrapbooking or any other creative project you have in mind.

I have also used these washi tapes and other washi tapes I have ordered for other projects like my whiteboard calendar! I am currently in college studying art therapy so I lined out the days of the week with washi tape and I wrote in each box the day of the week and what day of the month it is. Then with a small post it note I wrote what class I had at what time (i'm only taking 3 classes). So every thing is color coded and lined off so I have a big section to write my homework every week for each class. I would post a photo but right now I am on spring break and I have other stuff on my list. ex - whale watching! :)
I would definitely recommend these to start but keep looking because there are hundreds of other kinds of washi tapes on amazon! If you need some reference or don't know where to start look me up on Pinterest (Isabelle Skapik) and look around at my craft walls (and my Birthday 2016 wall).
Yes I asked for more Washi tapes for my birthday because i'm OBSESSED with Washi tape! And if you order this you will be too!
10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND! :)
Of course the description puts the actual measurements, but since I knew it wash washi tape it seems ridiculous that I have to search in the description to see that two are smaller. The colors of the tapes are VERY different, not nearly as bright. Pretty disappointed.
