This potent liquid justice is a superb flavor enhancer when you aren't grilling something over wood and coal like you should be doing whenever you have the chance or a pair of working testicles. I keep a dilution of 1 part water to 1 part liquid smoke in a spray bottle on my counter and spray it in meat marinades and directly on meat that I bake or fry. I also put a teaspoon or two into my famous grilled chicken soup to give it an extra smokey punch to my stomach's face. And sometimes I just spray it into the room and inhale deeply.
Plus, you wanna know a secret? I love the smell of hickory smoke so much I often find myself fighting the urge to dab it behind my ears and run off into the woods for extended periods of time. Because that would be irresponsible.
Wrights is awesome and lasts a good long while.
* Always shake the bottle well before each use as it settles while sitting.
could have bought a smaller bottle. So I write this review for anyone whose space is limited and who doesn't know this is concentrated af! Even the small residue on your fingers as you open & close the bottle will have you smelling like you spent hours at a bbq getting blasted in the face by barbeque! (Because the smell follows you all day) On a good note the liquid is transparent, (and not sooty) so you get the smoke flavor without the cancer-causing actual smoke!
Tips: get you a small bottle with a dropper. Thank me later (my dogonne fingers smell like HAM from taking the picture for this review)... I guess I'm also angry because I'm a vegetarian and I don't want to smell like ham! But I do like a smokey cabbage and collard greens, and I may try this on dehydrated eggplant "bacon" ;)
Its really good. You've been warned. Peace!
Put frozen/fresh raw hamburger in a pasta dish, flatten to make a patty, squirt 3-4 shakes of the bottle, then add Rajun Cajun atop it to taste, nuke with another pasta bowl as 'cover' for 2-3 minutes. Can eat right outta bowl. YUM. Have done that after adding frozen cut veggies atop, microwaving the whole thing for 1-2 added minutes.
Original review follows below.
Been using Colgin's for years, but always had to be sparing, since the bottles you can buy in the store are always so small and expensive. UNTIL I FOUND THIS. Yowsa, now I can really pig out on smoke flavoring. I'd smoke everything if I could (well, except maybe milk and orange juice and Orange Julius). That smell and tang, yes!
Try this: nuke some individual portion brisket (cooked or uncooked, but cooked is faster and more tender) that has been 'smoked' with a goodly portion of Wright's and a sprinkling of Rajun Cajun prior to microwaving. To die for. It also works if you substitute Worchestershire sauce, but smoke is better. :)
So now, baby, I can really have it all. Thank you, Wright's! This will become a staple!
I just wish they sold the Apple and Mesquite varieties in this quantity at this price. If they do, I've not been able to find them or I would buy those too.

I just prepared a chicken for my barbq and mixed a sweet and sour stir fry sauce that I had on hand and the LIQUID SMOKE AND THE CHICKEN WAS DELICIOUS, and some brown sugar, soak it overnight, and enjoy the fruitage

A must have for ribs, steak and burgers.
