Great smokey flavor that's not overwhelming or more importantly, it's not chemically tasting or smelling. You can taste and smell the actual wood note.

Unfortunately, it comes in a glass bottle with a hard plastic cap that broke. I usually keep liquid smoke in a zip lock bag, but I keep this in two bags.

This is definitely a buy, but not made for shipping.

The only thing better is actual mesquite wood cooking. Not so easy in the east.

Because you need to dilute it, its not great for adding just a dash of flavor, as the calculations are for a much larger amount. Not really my thing but you may like it.

You don't need a BBQ to get an authentic smoke flavor in your food. This is one of the few smoke liquids that actually just have concentrate smoke as the ingredient. Others have lots of sugars and additives. I have used Wright's for 20 years and am so glad to have found it easily at Amazon. Use it sparingly, a little goes a long way.

Bought this as a fire treatment for my pyrophytic seeds. It worked per formulation and I have some beautiful little seedlings that would normally not sprout! Smells great and is natural. Maybe why seeds thought there was an actual forest fire and woke up. Science!

Will try on meat or in some chili someday!

I noticed that many reviewers mentioned that the bottles arrived leaking, but I figured with Amazons return policies that if mine arrived leaking I could refund it. Sure enough, it arrived leaking, but it was so slight that I just rinsed it off and put it in the cupboard as it couldn't have leaked more than 1/16 of a teaspoon. Both this product and their hickory liquid smoke are wonderful products and I have used them for years, BUT... with 19 of 243 reviews mentioning leaking bottles (not to mention several broken arrivals), why hasn't something been done to correct this? Some of these "leaking reviews" go back over five years and they've done nothing to correct it? Weird and sketchy business practices!

This is the BEST smoke flavor and has only TWO ingredients - water and smoke concentrate. It adds nothing but the best smoke flavor to you cooking! Buy two bottles. You will love using it. I presume it will add the wonderful smoked flavor you have come to love with your summer barbecue and this will allow you to add to your marinade and enjoy that smoke flavor year round. :-) I use it to make carrot hot dogs and other plant based meals. Yummy!! Your taste buds will be delighted with this product.
