Review

"You'll wonder how you ever got along without it. A powerful guide to support writing your book." - Robert Evans of the Messenger Network

"Garrett Pierson is a perfect example of someone who understands what it takes to be a success and is willing to live out those principles as an example to others. A new face on the business scene, Garrett is one to watch!"

Joel Comm, New York Times Best-Selling Author of Twitter Power

"Garrett Pierson, for me, is the true leader from behind. When he's not noticed, is when he does everything right. That is the true definition of a leader, to be invisible, to engage and enroll others, rather than command and control them, which is a leader from the front."

- Alex Mandossian

"I received your book & training program. I have already started to write a book according to your advice.

My book is a guideline to manage a Hospital and it is intended for new Medical Administrators because I am a Doctor with post graduate qualification on Medical Administration.

Thank you so much."

- Dr. Piyal Samaraweera

For many years I was struggling to finish my book...I could just never seem to organize and present my thoughts effectively. I was frustrated and I thought that I would never achieve my goal of being a published author. But that was all before a close friend of mine bought me this guide as a gift for my birthday. Now all that trouble is in the past since I have taken Garrett's fantastic advice and applied it to my own life and writing. "How To Write a Book" has inspired me to finally finish my book, which is now about to be published! And I owe many thanks to Garrett and his amazing book.

There are many books out there full of ineffective strategies, complicated jargon, or just flat out malarkey. But I can assure you that is not the case at all here. In this guide you will find nothing but pure, honest, and helpful information that will help you become the writer you always wanted to be. It's obvious that the author knows what he's talking about and that he genuinely wants you to succeed as well..

I couldn't be more impressed with how well written this book is or more thankful about how much it helped me. I would say this book is an absolute must for anyone considering writing, or anybody that is serious about getting their work published. It is very easy to follow and I promise that you will find just what you need in "How To Write a Book ASAP".

I first heard about this author on NPR, so I wanted the book to help me with practical advice for publishing. Mr. Pierson gives specific advice on the mechanics of writing and the most accessible means of publishing for new writers. I'm very glad I bought this.

This is an excellent book and very well written. If you are thinking of writing a book or started to write one, this book has a lot of valuable information in it.

I have never written a book before and had no idea how to go from typing it on my computer to a finished book. I like that Garrett Pierson included a lot of actual websites and companies that can help with the process of writing and finishing a book.

In addition, there are great tips and websites on promoting your book once you are finished with it.

How to Write a Book ASAP is not just another book about writing a book. This book is a tool that you use over and over again. I will say that it is like a rasp because it will keep you sharp!

This book is very motivational and will inspire you to bring out that author within. Garrett, in a very gentle way, will inspire you to step out and take the challenge. For me it was to once again start writing that book which I had started but had put on the back burner for the past 5 years.

This book is also not overwhelming but goes through the step by step process of what is needed to get that book from the first word to the first copy. It is also full of resources that you will go back to over and over again, to help guide you through the process.

Overall, I feel that this book is a great resource. It is not just another book, but rather a tool; one that won't just sit on your bookshelf, but will be a tool that will be used over and over again.

If you have already written a book, but looking for some good self-publishing tips, chapter 9 is a must read. The author does a great job outlining contractors via Elance to use for everything from cover art to editing.

I have published one other workbook prior to reading "How to Write a Book ASAP". Many of the things that he shares are things we already have heard but have no organzational method to start utilizing the information. I believe that my upcoming books will be much better due to Garrett's book and his online presence which has helped me really think about what readers want. I learned some important researching skills prior to just writing a book that others won't want to read. Writing books are what fuel my passion for life and seeing them through has been one of my biggest life accomplishments right next to being a mom. Loved Garrett's style and this book is a must for a roadmap to getting it started, written and finished.

I'm going to try to be as nice about this as I can. I got the audiobook version of this book from Audible. The author appears to have self published 2 books that have a sale rank of over 5,000,000, that means they aren't selling. So he writes a book about how to write? I would suggest the author read a few books on how to write, before he makes another attempt at it out of respect for readers and their money.

The book is filled with writing errors that prospective authors learn about in any writing 101 beginners course or book. Speaking of courses, he repeatedly plugs his website address where you can buy courses on writing. Cliche's and the phrase "your book" are used so often if put all together they would probably fill about 5 pages. Reading this book (if you can because it's not easy or enjoyable) will not help you write a book and it certainly won't help you write something readers will enjoy. If you have begun to search for info about writing, you've seen what's in this book before, there's nothing new here.

If you are serious about learning how to write and write well, get "Stein on Writing". You will have to re-read it many times because there is so much great stuff to absorb. After doing so, any book you write, especially if it's you first, will be far superior than not gaining the knowledge. Don't waste your money on this "ASAP" book. And Garret, please treat the craft of writing with the respect it deserves and learn how to write before you make another attempt. Selling bad books hurts readers and the author who wrote it.
