About the Author

Stephen Pasquini, PA-C is a rural family practice physician assistant since 2004 and creator of www.thepalife.com. He is a National Health Service Corps Scholar and graduate from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (Rutgers) PA program and the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Stephen has been working as a mentor and adviser to PA students through his website and personal practice for over 10 years. His passion is helping people express a gift for medicine and healing through the PA profession. His goal is to help compassionate, caring and patient-focused individuals actualize their dream of becoming a physician assistant.

Duke Pasquini, MA Ed is a retired principal and educator with over 32 years of experience, published author of three books, and current state assessor for new teachers and adjunct professor at National University. He has helped many applicants over the course of three years perfect their personal statements, a majority who have gone on to be accepted into PA school that very same year. He has written two novels, A Warrior's Son and Teenage Mosaic.

Sue Edmondson has been a freelance writer in Northern Nevada and Northern California since 1999. Her articles have appeared in publications such as Family Pulse, Rlife, Enjoy, Edible Reno-Tahoe and she spent five years as a reporter for the Mountain Echo newspaper. She dabbles in fiction and was awarded first place for short fiction by the Reno News and Review. She's sold several short children's stories. Her other career is as an attorney. After spending seven years practicing family law, she spent the next 19 years at the District Attorney's Office

Stephen Pasquini PA-C is a 2004 graduate of the Rutgers/UMDNJ PA program, a National Health Service Corps Scholarship recipient and a proud family practice physician assistant with 12 years of clinical experience. He is the owner and creator of The Physician Assistant Life website, The Physician Assistant Essay Collaborative as well as the PANCE and PANRE Academy Board Review website. He gives thanks every day for his amazing wife and two small children who are his greatest advocates and the loves of his life. His goal is to someday see a world without healthcare inequality.
