Writing: A College Handbook (Fifth Edition)
Having this textbook was so useful for me! I had some shortcomings with regard to being able to effectively write on a college level before. This textbook changed that by showing me the various types of writing styles and identifying the proper style(s) associated with different circumstance. I received the textbooks within 2 days of ordering them so I was able to get them in time to do my assigned reading and before my next class and not fall behind. I also was pleasantly surprised because they were in even better condition than I expected them to be. I liked the fact that the price was far less than I would have paid if I purchased this book from the bookstore and being able to get the edition that my professor suggested for a fraction of the cost was also a plus.
I recommend this textbook to anyone who is taking a basic writing course or is interested in developing their writing skills. I will and have ordered additional textbooks since textbooks since ordering this book.
