This video packs a lot of education into an hour. It is as relevant to writing a novel as it is to writing a screenplay. After watching the video I ordered the accompanying workbook. I intend to purchase the other videos in this series.

Are you worried about writing a screenplay that is boring? This class will twist your story a 100 different ways to keep the audience guessing every moment. I like the part on storytelling where you think of a situation like a character being interviewed by a detective or going through a collection of symbolic objects.

"How to" twists with points of view such as the main character being dead reveal at the end in a big twist. One of the best parts is where you learn how to do a really strong climax by using a series of positive and negative twists that happen in a fast series. If you have ever had problems ending your stories with a big bang this class will teach you how to create twist endings every time.

Science fiction ideas are also covered and how to create 3D worlds that people relate to emotionally by using familiar visual theme combinations. A harder lesson in the course, but well worth it.
