Corinthian Colleges Inc. is the for-profit college that has been the subject of state district attorney investigations in numerous states, paying $6.5 million in California and agreeing to forgive student debt but admitting no wrongdoing.
Comparing this book to the Lester book from 1993 (from my library, all I have to go by), the table of contents appears similar; 40 more pages in 2010 probably about Internet searching. Are the books comparable--how much was taken from the original Lester book, and what was replaced? I hope for the sake of the trusting Corinthian students that the contents are reliable.
Some of the examples may be self-serving. The section on searching the database of the Library Congress refers to legislation concerning student loans.
I am writing a nonacademic paper and money is tight, so this version will suffice. You get extra credit for critical reading skills with this one.
