About the Author

SENATOR MIKE LEE (R-Utah) is a tireless advocate for constitutionally limited government. A former federal prosecutor and appellate litigator who previously worked as a law clerk to Supreme Court justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr., he serves on the Judiciary Committee, the Commerce Committee, the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and the Joint Economic Committee. He is also the chairman of the Senate Steering Committee. His previous books include Our Lost Constitution and The Freedom Agenda.

This is my second purchase of this book, gave my first one away to a high school US History Buff. He too thought this book shed light in the darker corners of our history. Well done, easy read and very understandable. New information is always enlightening! Thomas Jefferson said, "If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed." George Washington also stated, "Truth will ultimately prevail where there is pains taken to bring it to light." This book helps us learn more of the truth of our American History! By the very words of many of our Founders, we should endeavor to learn all we can and to maintain ALL the truth in our American History
