The book was brought to my attention on the Fox News channel one morning when Dr.Piper was a guest. Dr. Piper, the president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University, spoke about an incident at the university, an incident in which a student at the university expressed displeasure because a chapel service message had made him (the student) feel "victimized." I don't recall now how I learned of Dr.Piper's book, but it interested me, so I ordered a copy.
The book comprises 46 essays on a variety of topics, having mainly to do with education, politics, and pop culture. They reflect what I would characterize as a conservative Christian's descriptions of situations encountered in a culture light on morals and awash in self-gratification, among other things.
Charles Colson endorsed this book with the following: "Here is a voice that needs to be heard."
Jim Garlow stated: "Everett Piper is a clear, articulate and historically-grounded futuristic thinker."
A fine resource to augment your critical thinking studies.
