As if that wasn’t enough she finds out she is a seeker and has 10 days to find a ring to save the world. As she hunts for the ring she runs into trouble from her husband and his young ho.
All is ok when she finds the ring and saves the world.
There are so many levels to this story, it really spoke to me as an older woman. While there is a lot to discuss, I don't do spoilers, so buy the book and get reading today!

When life turns upside down and you got a choice to start absolutely new life and be who you want to be and who you want to spend your time with. Add some Greek gods and magic to it and story just flows! Hilariously funny story line with many great developed characters, some to love some to hate, some you just laugh at. Marina, Falcyon, Alexios... I adore the elder ladies Dottie and Adelaide! I want to be them when I grow up!
Can't wait for the next book to see what's for Marina and crew coming next.
Sadly to many people can say they walked into the hell Marina did of finding her husband cheating on her with a woman young enough to be her daughter... Rubbing salt into that fresh gaping wound was the woman in question had spent years torturing their daughter Avery and now her own father was sleeping with her talk about torture then the woman was wearing Marina's lingerie seriously messed up, but written with such hilarity you couldn't help but laugh the whole way through.
I have to say I love Avery's right hook that was all kinds of awesome and Marina's sister Halcyon is absolutely amazing not to mention Adelaide and Dottie omg there was just so much to love on every page.
I haven't even touched on the supernatural side which I loved the idea of being related to a god/goddess and needing to find things to save the world was so funny and really added to the story for me.
I'll be honest there was no down side at all to this book it was freaking fantastic.
Our lovely main character is called Marina. She has a husband, a high-maintenance daughter, a supportive sister and a really nasty mother.
The story follows Marina through some really crappy life events and we get to cheer her on as she descoveres who she always was! And watch her try to save the world as we know it as well!
This book deals with some really important topics. One such is that just because someone is your mother doesn't mean she is a good one, or even a decent person in general. I would have loved this book for just that reason.
However - this book is well written, the story is fun and exciting. And the characters are stong with a good progression.
Do yourself a favour and get this book!
As always, well written and fun to read!
