She got a bad rap in that her mom was bitten by a zombie just before giving birth and left the picture....Wunder was raised by her father and the two of them had an amazing father/daughter relationship.
Being only part zombie (but not the bad kind) gave Wunder some abilities unavailable to normal humans. Enter Pete...the hot zombie fighter member of RIP who matter-of-factly was literally and figuratively the man of her dreams. The dreams she had? Oh man! Vivid sensual dreams, describing Pete right down to a T! Coincidentally Mr. hot guy Pete possessed the same qualities and Wunder was his dream 'Wonder Woman'.
The actual zombie fighting on the streets was pretty cool too..I love how tough Wunder was and how the RIP gang all worked together. The sense of solidarity was great and I was cheering them on with each kill. Of course Wunder was the badass of them all...which just goes to show that women CAN gitter done.Never underestimate the power of a woman.
AR Von, ya kinda left me wanting more Wunder and Pete here....I'm ready to move on now to Teamwork, which hear is in the works and will be released soon! I've gotta see what happens between these two and I definitely want to witness some more zombie slaying. Thanks for making my first zombie read a good one! I 'Wunder' what's gonna happen next ;)
I love this series alot because its the right blend of kick ass, romance, and plot to keep me interested.
18+ due to adult situations.
Wunder is not entirely human... she has a small portion of zombie in her. Oh ya, by the way, this is a zombie novel. She doesn't ever feel like a zombie, expect when she's eradicating the 'infected' as part of her job in the RIP group!
Pete is not entirely human... he has a small portion of zombie in him... sound familiar??
Pete has been visited almost nightly in his dreams by a sexy, fun stranger who fills him with desire and passion.
Wunder experiences the same dreams.
What happens when they meet for the first time?
This is the type of zombie erotica people dream of. A.R. Von has created a world where the zombie virus has almost completed eradicated humans from Earth, but those who are left are kick ass and fighting to be normal. Wunder is a strong, kick ass woman that every one wants to be when the apocalypse happens. Pete is a perfect mate for her. Wunder kept me entertained, had funny moments, cute moments, and had a sense of adventure and thrill. The only downside was the length of this, I wish there was MORE! A definite fun read and an awesome world to dive into!
