The knife is sharp but very flimsy. The handle is composed of plastic which is different from the other Wusthof blades that I have. I was a little disappointed in the knife but it still does a good job despite it's short nature. Note, if you want a quality knife, I would go with a 4 inch Wusthof Ikon.

I cannot believe that Wusthof has the audacity to even sell this knife. I was under the impression that this was "THE" brand to get, but what a disappointment this was. I bought Victorinox Swiss Army 3-1/4-Inch Fibrox Straight Edge Paring Knife, Black for 25% less, and am blown away with its quality. The wusthof handle feels so cheap, unbelievably cheap compared to the victorinox fibrox handle. That is not the reason why I am so angry with this product. I actually cut myself on the top of the knife. How is that even possible? I would get it, if I was negligent and cut myself on the edge, I would not complain about that at all. I feel that the edges of the top are sharp due to the knife being cheap stamped steel, which I am fine with stamped steel for that price. I have bought knives at a dollar store that had better quality, which is sad very sad for a company like wusthof. I understand that this is their cheap line from wusthof, and I was not expecting something magical, but they put their name on it, which to me used to mean something. The seller on the other hand send me the knife promptly, and it arrived earlier than it was supposed to, which was nice. In the end I will stick with victorinox and global.

This knife came in my 10 piece block set and at first I felt the handle to be kinda thin as is the blade but after using it I soon realized that it was a good thing since its so sharp and easy to handle with a pinch grip. It does a great job on small veggies and fruit and will slice through about anything with ease. Great part of my set that I am very satisfied with especially for the price..

So glad to have found this knife. My Mother-in-law had given me one years ago and when it broke I tried different knives but nothing was ever right....this knife has the right weight, length, and sharpness and I use it at least once a day.

I would recommend this knife. Very sharp and performs well. I hand wash my all my knives to avoid damage from dishwasher detergents.

Just bought my third one of these. This is my "go to" knife for peeling anything by hand - peaches, apples, pears, you name it. Thin blade but quite sharp and easy to manipulate into corners.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't like this knife because the blade is too thin and bendable for my comfort. I prefer a slightly thicker, sturdier, less flexible blade.
