A founding contributor to the NewTexture.com website, Wyatt Doyle is the author of STOP REQUESTED, illustrated by Stanley J. Zappa.
With pulp historian Robert Deis, he created the Men's Adventure Library, co-editing and designing the WEASELS RIPPED MY FLESH! anthology, which includes contributions by Harlan Ellison, Bruce Jay Friedman, Lawrence Block and Mario Puzo. They followed WEASELS with HE-MEN, BAG MEN & NYMPHOS, a collection of vintage pulp fiction by Walter Kaylin. This was followed by CRYPTOZOOLOGY ANTHOLOGY's action pulp stories of Bigfoot, sea monsters and other mysterious creatures, and A HANDFUL OF HELL, collecting the cream of Robert F. Dorr's men's magazine work. BARBARIANS ON BIKES, a visual archive of outlaw motorcycle gangs in men's pulps, was released in September 2016, and the first two volumes of THE MEN'S ADVENTURE LIBRARY JOURNAL will make their debut in early 2017.
Doyle is editor and designer of most New Texture releases (and publisher of Josh Alan Friedman's BLACK CRACKER and TELL THE TRUTH UNTIL THEY BLEED for his own imprint). His original screenplay with Jason Cuadrado, I'M HERE FOR YOU, has been filmed as DEVIL MAY CALL.
DOLLAR HALLOWEEN, a book-length photo essay, was released in a hardcover edition in October 2015. I NEED REAL TUXEDO AND A TOP HAT!, a collection of his photographs and stories, is forthcoming.
THE LAST COLORING BOOK, a collaboration with artist Jimmy Angelina, will be released by New Texture in October 2016.
