I ordered the X2010, X2011, and X2012 CDs from Amazon in April 2014 to complete a collection I had: the X series of yearly "Christian Rock Hits." I had the CDs for years 2003-09, the X Christmas CD, and the two X Worship CDs, so I ordered the 2010-12 CDs. According to Wikipedia, the series ended with 2012, so these three CDs completed my set. And they are all great! The music is Christian hard rock, just perfect for my powerlifting workouts in my home gym. And the CDs are longer than most, lasting about an hour, so I don't have to change music in the middle of my workout. With working out alone, it can sometimes be hard to get psyched up, but cranking up these CDs has enabled me to put in many hard workouts. And it so much nicer getting psyched to music that glorifies my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, rather than secular music that can be degrading.

I grew up on 80's rock but changed my lifestyle since I gave myself to the Lord. I missed the beat of the music but not the words (sex, drugs & Rock'n Roll). Now I can listen to that rock beat again w/out the bad language. Lots of secular people buy these band's albums b/c what they sing is unique...BUY IT !!!!

The "X" CD series I'm positive that X 2010 will be GREAT. If you are new to TODAY'S CHRISTIAN MUSIC and looking to find groups that THIS GENERATION will like (*Teens, young adults, etc.) than "X" is a GREAT place to start. With groups like Thousand Foot Krutch, Pillar, Skillet, Hawk Nelson, Red and Kutless, this new "X" is sure to please anyone with an ear for (*again) "Today's Christian Music". I REALLY think you can't go wrong with this one! DO expect the music to be MUCH HARDER than the "CCM" light stuff that most Christian radio stations play... BUT don't let that turn you away because if we can be honest, most jr. high/senior high school students and young adults aren't listening to a "CCM" light style of music anyway.

I have collected every X-Christian Rock album since the first year which was in 2003. Each has a single song from many different artists and I usually end up buying albums of the artists I like the most. In 2003 the album came with 2 CDS with 17 songs each! 2004 had 18 songs on it. In 2005 came my personal favorite CD of the whole collection and that year 21 songs were on the album. The 2006 album was the first album that I collected and it started my desire to get all of them, 20 songs for that year. X2007 was back up to 21 songs, X2008 was down to 17, but there was also an XChristmas edition released separately that year which had 17 songs on it, and each song was by different artists which all put intersting rock spins on classic Christmas songs. In 2009 the series had a CD with 19 songs and a second DVD disk. Then came X2010 and don't get me wrong there are some great songs on this CD. "Collapsing" by Demon Hunter is excellant to mention one. However, my low rating is because I am very disappointed that only 15 songs are included on the album. That is the lowest of any year yet, and I feel rather cheated, not by the price, but the lack of songs. I noticed that only 15 tracks were on the CD before my purchase, but chose to buy anyway because I am such a fan of this series. Hopefully X2011 will come out with 21 songs or so or maybe like X2003 it will be 2 CDs for the price of one!

I think I have just about all of the series of Christian Rock hits and am always worried the next one won't be as good as the last. Don't know why - this is as good as any other!! I love the variety and the energy. Highly recommended.
