Book 3 of X-Force from 1990. I absolutely loved it, there is big action, big guns, big super powers, lots of mystery and awesome art (see below for details on art). This is a must have for any fans of Cable, X-men and 1990's comics.

The Marvel Premiere Edition Hardcovers are super slick!

Art: Well if you hate Rob Liefeld you will be happy to know most of the art in book 3 is done by Mark Pacella though he greatly mirrors Liefeld's style. But you have to understand the negative criticism of Liefeld is more pointed towards his later works with "Image Comics". I find his early work with X-Force amazing, nothing like it, he stays within Marvel Standards but pushes the boundaries enough for a great edge. It's unique, you literally do not see art like his before 1990.

So if you liked book 3 like me, the story continues in Cable #1-4 in "Cable: Classic volume 1 & 2", X-Force #16-18 in "X-men: X-cutioner's Song" (release date: Oct 2011) and X-Force #19-28 in "X-Force: Assault on Graymalkin" (release date: Nov 2011). Hope that helps!
