Best purchase ive made in a long time! Brings me right back to the arcade days which is all I knew growing up. Only game system I owned was a Nintendo. Once I was old enough to go out it was arcade everyday I could go. In conjunction with MAME I have been able to finally relive those glory days of gaming at home. MAME has always had a place in my home with a Gamepad Pro or whatever controller I had at the time but nothing can come close to an actual arcade stick and buttons for pulling off the perfect hadouken! Solidly built and heavy as hell you can tell it was built with quality in mind. I f I had to do it again though I wouldve spent the little bit extra for the Tankstick as it has trackball and as Ive come to find out later they are very expensive to buy a good one and don't necessarily work with trackball games. but if you only want fighting games and the like, then this is plenty good. I find that I can play 99% of the games I want to without it but I do miss Simpsons Bowling.

Fine for PC only or single console, after that you're better off building your own

The stick as it comes is fine if you only intend to use it on PC, but if you want to use it on multiple consoles it quickly becomes inconvenient. You have to purchase separate adapters for the consoles from the manufacturer and if you are a collector like me this adds up to more than the stick cost after a while. I ended up taking out the stock controller board and replacing it with a multi console board that supports legacy and newer systems out of the box w/o the need for adapters.

We've really enjoyed the X-Arcade. We use it exclusively on our PC: plug it in and start playing (with some keymapping). It takes quite a bit of rough play from our youngsters and hasn't skipped a beat. The only minus is the adjustment that you'll likely find yourself wanting to do (to modify the activation "points" where the internal switches engage). Overall great product.

Even my wife likes it, but the one difference that she would prefer would be to have the buttons labeled (A B C etc.) or some type of color scheme.

Poor Product Support!

VERY rude and unprofessional support representative! I purchased an X-Arcade Tankstick and had trouble using it with MAME on a PC. The screen keeps flipping when I used a combination of joystick and buttons. Since I'm a new customer of X-gaming and unfamiliar with their game controller, I decided to contact them for support. This is where my experience with their support went from frustrating to infuriating.

First, I called X-Gaming for support on several occasions, at different times and days. Regardless of the time and day, I'm always greeted by receptionists of a 3rd party company answering service for X-Gaming Inc., who by the way are very nice and polite. I was never able to connect to X-Gaming support by phone. Left a couple of messages on different days, gave my contact number, but NEVER get a call back from X-Gaming support. That being said, I followed up with X-Gaming support via email and explained my issue with steps to replicate the problem. I got a response within a few hours with a response, "Screen is flipping sideways or upside-down when I play?" No greeting, no other explanation. At the time I thought the representative was asking me a question and did not realize it was a link to troubleshoot the issue. So again, I typed my explanation and steps to reproduce the problem. Two days later I was greeted with another question instead of a solution. This is where it goes from frustrating to infuriating!

I also explained that I finally figured out the issue on my own, due to their lack of support. The following day this is the unprofessional response I got from X-Gaming Support, "You are not too bright, are you..." Yep!

After receiving that inappropriate, unprofessional email response, I called X-Gaming to file a complaint but again greeted by a receptionist of a 3rd party company answering service for X-Gaming Inc. I left a message and contact information, for support to call me. With no surprise, no one called me back. A day later I received another unprofessional email response from X-Gaming support, "We don't want your business due to your rudeness..." along with a quote "Top 5 Reasons Why 'The Customer Is Always Right' Is Wrong."

X-Gaming Inc. is a company that Knows NOTHING about customer satisfaction, and need to train their representatives to how to handle sensitive support issues. They boast about their products, but cannot back it up with their support! I will NOT give my business to a company that does not support and criticizes their customers. I will be selling my X-Gaming controller for another brand controller.

I bought this for my son. I had NO idea what this thing was or what he was going to use it for except for telling me it was for "games".
I cannot get him out of his room now since he has received it. He is reliving his childhood, he has every single game on here and tells me it is awesome.

This arcade thing works with any game machine invented. He literally has plugged it into an old computer, got some ROMS, and he is off playing games I never heard of.
It literally plays "adventure" old old games. I sit here and see him playing on my new LCD, with this arcade game system going and he's in heaven.

Easy programmable, easy to use.

I could not believe the size of this thing. Most of you gamers will laugh but I really didn't honestly know it was HUGE. It is literally meant to be inside of an arcade machine.

It's worth the money.

I Only recommend X-Arcade Tankstick and not this one if ur building a real mame cabinet , other ways this one is perfect for any occasion.

I know a lot of hard-core or performance gamers prefer the convex shape and responsiveness of the Sanwa buttons, but I have always preferred the concave buttons that this stick features.

This stick is easy to set up and customize. If you're a MAME gamer, don't hesitate. This is what you're looking for.

I purchased this arcade board as part of a bare bones stand up arcade build in combination with an adjustable desk. You will find reviews that will tell you that the sticks on this board are bad. This is NOT true! Anyone who takes 5 seconds to read the manual that this board comes with or to visit the online videos posted on the manufacturer website, will find that this board is designed to be FULLY SERVICABLE by the user and WILL require the micro switch contacts inside the board to be adjusted when it first arrives to ensure all 8 directions register properly with diagonals and all. This is a SIMPLE 10 minute task that requires no more than a phillips head screw driver and a butter knife just to open the board. Once the adjustments have been made this board is absolutely amazing. Buttons work perfectly and respond properly. The board was a dream to set up in MAME and other emulators and works perfectly in any front end. I cannot recommend this product enough. 5 stars and would buy it again if given the chance. This board truly is built like a tank and has already taken a thorough beating. Will update my review after 6 months.

This works fantastic with the raspberry Pi3 running retropie,you'll need to download the drivers for it though but once up and running it's well worth it. Both the player 1 and 2 work off of the one usb connector. The joysticks feels nice and stiff and the buttons work great just like an old style arcade. These aren't cheap to buy but pair it up with a good retropie or pc emulation setup and you really feel like you got you're money's worth.
