My review is a little late. I actually did the program at the end of 2014. I'm getting ready to do it again (starting next week) and looking to possibly get the newer XTF Max set since the workouts are shorter. I was eating an average of 1833 calories per day. I lost 19.6 lbs and a total of 18" off my body.
I thought the program might be too tough for me. I was pretty out of shape. I'm also a little older and have a few joint issues.
The modification levels demonstrated allowed me to start out at an easier level and build myself up to the most challenging levels. I did not use the resources on their website or track my workouts at first and that was a mistake as I had a hard time staying motivated (as always), once I read through the training guide though and shared my fitness test with them online, I started using the guide and following the tips they provided me and it made a huge difference. I did the whole program with a small assortment of 5-15lb dumbbells I already had, and an old yoga mat. You will also need about a 6x12 feet you can comfortably move around in.
I managed to get through the whole 12 week program and have seen a real difference. I feel better than I have in ages and have a lot more energy.
Note of caution if you like to lift heavy weights for changing the shape of your body like I do, this is not that serious. I am utilizing the strength training here as my strength training burn out days and still doing at least one or two heavy lifting days with this. Weight lifting is time it is not based on wraps but it is super super tough.
I am really looking forward to the results that I had gotten before and then some as we plan on no more children. haha. I also have made a goal to run a marathon at the beginning of fall. I am hoping with the benefits from this system that it will help me achieve my goal with that as well.
Thank you Stephanie, and thank you to the other people in the videos. Even though I am working out around the busy-ness of a 4 yr old and a 10 month old, you all make it feel like I have someone to train with. :) :)
