-Super light weight - it's so light that when I switch over to a regular size, my arms ache
-Powerful & hot for size, no other small hair dryer has ever made it past a 4 month mark without the motor burning out on my long and very thick hair.
-Great 4 year warranty - at about the 2 year mark the plastic on/off switch broke off on the inside. It is something I could have fixed myself with some superglue, but instead called it in where I purchased it, and for shipping (I think like $7) I got a new one.
dual voltage works perfectly. I've used it in US, Mexico, Austrailia 220V, and New Zealand 220V with zero problems, zero smell, zero smoking - worked perfectly normal every where.
-The tourmaline thing - I can't tell a difference. It's not really a con, but it's not really a selling point either.
-Compare to a full size 1800 watt hot tools indestructable, Tim Taylor Tool Time special (dating myself here)...sure this won't feel as powerful. But for it's size, it is strong, and the air is hot. It's hotter than any travel size dryer I've tested. I always compare it to those hotel ones, and none have ever been hotter or had as much air flow as this one. So for the size, I do feel this is king of the category. It's good enough that I use it full time. I have my jumbo, wind tunnel creator saved as a back up.
I love this hair dryer and and am somewhat surpised by the average rating. Sure it will not replace the best of the full size dryers out there, but it's real close, and I have very thick, shoulder blade long hair.Read more ›
EVEN WORSE.... horrible, the worst company and customer service to deal with. Took so long to get in touch with someone. The dryer is still under warranty since its under a year old. Fine, whatever give me a new one since it's your faulty product (and since i'm scared for my life). NO, the warranty requires you to send the product back to them with a $15 check and they MAY or MAY NOT replace it. They will not waive the fee or promise me a new dryer, even though I told them It may catch fire (*cough* lawsuit *cough*) and sent them the same pictures you can see in the product images on this site.
The reviewer that mentioned they were unhappy with this dryer, I'm not sure whomever the shipper was if they were selling an authentic product because authentic products do not have typos (maybe that's why there were problems).
My husband and I have been very happy with this dryer and have had this dryer for over a year. Still works great.
