I think I gave mine coil whine when i played with the settings, only for maximum power draw, but still ew.
This is Really loud! Like fan with bad bearings loud (it absolutely doesn't sound like said fan, just comparing volume here) going from a rig with a stock compact cpu cooler (that was on high for any game) and 2 case fans with bad bearings; when this thing spins up (which is rare for me) I get flashbaks of my old rig. very quiet on idle though.
Bought the XFX GTS RX 580 8GB DDR5. 0 driver issues. Card still works after a few months and puts out a better picture then my 970. I'll update my review if something goes wrong but, for now, I'm extremely pleased with this card both in terms of performance and price. I'll be all to happy to continue buying AMD in future.
