I have yet to have any issues with this card more than 8 months since I got it. Can run everything I've played so far at settings more than good enough and is a great choice when on a bit of a budget.

Hello everyone,

I bought this GPU about 3 months ago for my first custom built gaming computer. I'm going to just briefly touch on my favorite/least favorite things about this card.

PROS:

1. Fast. This card is pretty damn fast. I went from using an Intel GMA 3000 to this and it just blows my mind whenever I use it. Older games like L4D2, TF2 and the old Call of Duty series runs at 100+ fps at max settings. Even newer games such as Battlefield 3, Far Cry 3, etc. are playable at medium/high settings, although I can't say I recommend this card for those. (A 7870 would be more appropriate.)

2. Cheap. While this doesn't apply to the card as much as I bought it, it's a very good deal on a GPU, and in my opinion one of the best deals out there. As of writing this, the GPU is $150, and if you get a good sale you could probably snag it for $100. This is really an incredible deal.

3. Small. Cards like the 7770 and 5780 are bulkier and more covered in plastic, but this card has a very minimal feel to it. The lack of casings helps keep it cool, however, I do believe that it could have benefited from 2 (or maybe 3) fans instead of one.

CONS:

1. Overclocking. Overclocking this card is pretty disappointing. Its' highest clock speed is 850/1200, while most current cards come stock clocked at 1k/1200. So if you're looking to try to squeeze some extra life out of this card, I really don't think this is for you. The 7xxx series is more suited for OC'ing.

2. Competitors. This card was a screaming deal when I got it, but now it looks like the competition is starting to creep up on it. Just recently I saw a new 7870 for $196, which is a much, much better deal.
