Okay...don't use them for jackstands for your car...bad idea, even though they may actually stand up to the task. These are impressive; simple, heavy duty, nicely coated, good grip, no rock, no shake, no wobble. The height is key too, allowing for uses the lower height units cannot. Rubber feet grip, so no sliding on any surface I tried from my gym floor to hardwood. Assembly could not be easier. My box looked a bit tattered but inside wrap protected them nicely and they came out flawlessly. Buy these if you're serious, because they are too.

Well made bars for sure, but my issue is that the feet on the bars are so huge that they impede my workout, I’m constantly trying to avoid banging my knees into the feet, and with other exercises I’m am sitting on them, not comfortable.

Great For Getting That Little Extra Stretch

You can angle them in any direction for best comfort and hand placement. In the pixs they tend to show users with them parallel to the body. I don't like that hand position. So, I place them at right angles or perpendicular to my body. That puts my hands the same as if I were doing regular floor pushups. That extra little stretch is great. I'll need that mobility for throwing the shot (shot-putting). If you want to do pushups with your feet raised then your face tends to get in the way when you are on the floor. With these bars, your face has room and you can better get different angles of attack on your chest muscles.

Sturdy, but slippery and oddly sized

I'm really torn about these: the feel is overall great, but ran into some problems using them. The size of the bases is already pretty large, but with the protective feet attached, I couldn't get the handles closer together than 20", which is fine for support holds but very wide for a handstand (saying this as a 6'1" broad-shouldered guy). After attempting to use them on laminate flooring, I also noticed they slide around a lot. In order to use them for handstands I had to remove the feet and place them on a yoga mat.

Overall they feel good and well-made, but they definitely need better feet and could do with a slightly narrower base.

Great for parallel dips

Bought this for exercising triceps/shoulder as I have adhesive capsulitis (aka frozen shoulder). I wasn't able to use apparatus that allows full weight on the dips so I started back with the Xtek Gym XL and in doing so I gradually worked my way back to full dips. I still use for lunges for support after hips replacement. Very good quality (gym quality).
