Anyway, this bundle is a great purchase for those seeking an XBOX360. The bundle is great and I actually purchased it used [in Like-New condition]. I am very happy with the purchase thus far. Everything is working smoothly to this point.
PROS
- Console is very well built [I know some have indicated that it is cheap, but I don't see that being the case]. I am liking the custom artwork, and know that my son, who is very much into military stuff, will love it as well.
- 250GB Hard Drive is great! Plenty of storage for games, music, videos, etc.
- 2 Wireless controllers [both connected flawlessly].
- Modern Warefare 2 game included; great looking graphics and you don't have to purchase it separately, which in itself is another $35-$50 depending on where you purchase it.
- System is very quiet; mine is anyway, although I know some have complained about the noise.
- Personally, I enjoy the XBOX dashboard and user interface
- Usage timer. Love being able to set this up for a daily or weekly time limit so that my son knows when it's time to be doing something else.
- Love being able to tie into my Media Center PC with the XBOX360.
CONS
- Headset seems quite cheap [I will be replacing that soon].
- Don't like that you have to pay $50 for the yearly Gold Membership, but hey, if you are that into playing online and the other features that come with it, it is worth it (also, you can get a 12 month membership on Amazon for $39.99 and save yourself 10 bucks).
- No HDMI cable included; but seriously, they aren't that expensive and there are still way more people who are able to hook it up with the included cables than those that require an HDMI cable at this point (aim for the masses, right?).
- Lack of built in wireless.
Overall a very solid purchase. If you can pick this up on sale, you get way more than the new Slim, which although it looks cool, I don't feel it offers anything more aside from built-in wireless.
- sick Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Xbox 360
- MW2 (standard edition)
- 2 matching controllers
- Matching Xbox live headset
- Smaller power block, for easier mobility
- Massive 250gb Hard Drive
- More silent than the standard Xbox 360 Pro
- Newest Jasper Hardware Chip, making this system swing with the fastest and more up-to-date 360's
Cons:
- No HDMI cable
- Tiny 12 ft. Ethernet Cable (Not a big deal for me, but if you're not right next to a Ethernet port, then this cable is not for you)
- Standard MW2 Edition, and not Hardened (Based on personal opinion, but I was disappointed that this bundle came with the standard edition MW2 instead of Hardened with this package... still a great deal)

Concerning the 250gb hard drive:
Some advice if you're upgrading hard drives, if you ONLY care about game saves, and Marketplace content (like i did)... then DO NOT purchase the hard drive transfer kit from Microsoft. Instead just buy a 512mb memory card and transfer the data over. When you use the transfer kit, it gives you a warning that all game saves and market content will be deleted upon transfer (I had over 512mb worth of game saves alone, so this would have never worked out). I'll give you a few steps on how maybe to help you do this without messing everything up.
NOTE: you DO NOT have to move over Marketplace Downloads, I'll explain on how to do that as well
1) Insert your 512mb memory card and your original hard drive
2) Go to My Xbox, then go to the very end to System Settings, select memory, select hard drive, then begin to move over your chosen data
3) Move your gamer tag with all the data saves that you want to your 512mb memory card (It's important that you leave your gamer tag on your memory card, until it's the very last thing to move, because you need your gamer tag to access content from your old hard drive)
4) Move your the game saves over to your memory card
5) Be sure to TURN OFF your xbox 360 console before switching hard drives
6) Turn your xbox 360 on, and begin to move over the game saves from memory card to new hard drive
7) Repeat steps 4 - 6, until you get every game save you need
In order to get your marketplace downloads back, then just go to this website from Microsoft and it gives you easy steps on how to do it: [...]
By doing so, you can re-download all your marketplace content with no hassle (:

In comparison to the Xbox 360 Elite Winter 2009 Lego Batman / Pure Bundle :
- Only get 1 game instead of 2 (Holiday Elite bundle comes with 2 mediocre games, that's more kid oriented)
- 250gb hard drive (over twice the size of the holiday bundle's 120gb hard drive)
- 1 more matching controller than what the holiday bundle offers
- A Limited Edition MW2 Elite console
For just 100 extra dollars you get:
- 1 more Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Black , 37.96
- Best first person shooter of the year, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (39.99, compared to the combined price of the holiday package games, LEGO Batman and Pure 38.97)
- twice as big hard drive, 250gb (I'm guessing 75 extra)
- a limited edition elite console instead of a basic elite (in my eyes is more valuable, 25 extra)
--------
total: 138.98
You save 38.98
All-in-all this bundle is well worth the buy, and I highly recommend it to any 1st person shooter fan who is in need of an xbox upgrade.
Happy Holidays, Hope this helped (:
