Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

The color looks great and I like the white back. I especially like the textured grip that the two shoulder triggers have. The back of the handles have a similar kind of grip, slightly less textured than triggers. It's also cool that the Xbox on/off button shows a shiny black color when off, and white when illumined. It's just a small but nice feature. The buttons feel slightly clicky, while the analog sticks feel soft and smooth, like God intended.
Pairing has no issues and range is no issue. Battery life (obviously dependant on what kind of batteries you use) is slightly better than my old controller (using the same 2600mAh rechargeable pack). Perhaps Bluetooth signal has been more optimized, or it could be coincidence, it's improved but just slightly. The important thing is it hasn't diminished.
The first few times I went to swap out the battery pack the "door" or cover for the batteries was very stiff and difficult to open. I had to put a lot of force into it before it would pop open. It took longer than I'd like to admit that I was being stupid and pushing up, to slide the door off, and not pressing in at the bottom first, to release the small teeth that hold the door in place. My old one just slid up, so if anyone else is dumb like me, make sure to push first.
Overall the controller feels good in the hand and has a "feeling" of quality materials and build. It's kind of hard to describe exactly what I mean, but anyone who's held a cheap aftermarket controller, and then a new Xbox brand one, can understand what I'm talking about. It feels good to use.
Zero stick drift or button sticking, no lost pairing issues. There is no reason a new controller from Microsoft should come with those issues, out of the box, but I thought I should mention it.
After about 3-4 weeks of daily use, up to 8 hours at a clip, I'm really happy with this controller. Looks good, feels good and works well. If durability and longevity become an issue as time goes on I'll update this. I paid about about $25 less for this controller than it would have cost me at some other places, so at least at time of writing, this is a great deal.
1. it FEELS cheap, I dunno how to properly go about explaining it but it feels very hollow and a few good falls might break it with how light the controller is. Whether it being light is a good or bad thing is a personal preference, but personally I like a little weight to them. The material it is made out of, whatever kind of plastic, makes it get dirty fast: with a few gaming sessions I found gunk on the back and I wasn't even sweating.
2. The X button sticks sometimes when I press it. It doesn't cause any issue during my gaming sessions with rapid inputs or anything but it causes some minor discomfort knowing you have a scuffed button. This further notes the build of the controller.
3. While using my headset/mic on the controller it occasionally causes audio fracturing. Sounds will go in and out at a rapid pace at times almost giving me a headache that I need to take the headset off. This also goes for voice output, it will on occasions screw up my voice output and other people end up hearing my voice in a almost robotic nature, like a train is going by as you try to talk and it is constantly cutting off and on your voice. It does fix itself but it is rather annoying.
Do not get me wrong, I am happy at the very least to have a new controller. Although cheap in nature it is a good temporary replacement until I aquire the funds for a more suitable permanent controller. Remember you are buying a cheap product, you will get an even cheaper reward, albeit functional but yet still cheap.
As for using the controller, it feels a little lighter than the standard one. Maybe i’m tripping. The stick action is good and triggers/buttons/dpad feel good. Cool color selection too on these.

The box looked like it had been opened before. The seal was loosely put on, the box was ripped near one of the folds and the box was overall beaten up. With that said, it doesn't look like it was used for long as it is a white controller and there are no noticeable stains from use. However, there was something on the right thumbstick, noticed quite a bit of dust on the d-pad. When opening the box, you can tell the items inside were previously looked through.
Now you're probably reading this thinking, well if the controller works then what's the big deal? Well, I am about principle. If I had selected the "buy used for: $**" then I'd rate it 5 stars. However, I was under the impression the item I was buying would be factory sealed new.
If you to make sure that it is 100% brand new, I would recommend buying somewhere else other than Amazon. It would be easier to just pick one up at your local Wal-mart, Best Buy, Costco or Target.
