As you can see from my pictures, I had gamepass and let it expire. Then I purchased 3 years of gold. Once I redeemed that, I then waited a few hours and redeemed a 1 month gamepass code. I now have 3 years of gamepass for the price of 3 years of gold + 1 month of gamepass.

If you have an active gamepass subscription and buy gold, it converts the other way! Long as you let it expire, you are good to go. If you don't let it expire, you'll end up like all the other one star reviewers complaining you only got 4 months of gamepass and not 1 year of gold.

Bought this on August 25th. Now it says that I don’t have Xbox Live. I had to connect a new controller but besides that, I used the system as I normally would. So now I wasted $25 and can’t meet up with my team for a match we had set up Thanks for nothing.

This item is an absolute sham now, as well as false advertisement. If im buying directly from Microsoft, even if through a third party vender, I expect better than this. Its listed as 12 months of Xbox Live Gold. Yet, redeems as 4 months of Game Pass Ultimate for 4 months( for xbox and pc.) I only play on console, which means if I buy game pass through the console, for the console. For the same price of 60$ I could get 6 months of Game Pass Ultimate (for console.) First off this item should be listed as 12 months of xbox live gold in the first place, because I am certainly not receiving 12 months of anything. Secondly I should be able to decide whether I want it converted to the console membership or the console and pc membership.
