Bought 2 of these after featured on a deals website. Received redemption code via e-mail. Fired up xbox immediately to extend xbox live account. Waited for a system update to complete. Entered the first code, all went well, account good for another 6 months. Attempted to redeem the second code, received error "Code already redeemed" this was literally less than 30 minutes after purchase. No avenue to dispute purchase with amazon afterwards . BE WARNED!!

First off I don't like Microsoft or any game service having my credit card info!

1) After having to deal with the aftermath of someone breaking into my account and racking up $200+ in charges to my card on file.
2) Microsoft automatically re-subscribing if your card is on file (which could be bad if you are low on money when your subscription expires).

I found it a huge pain dealing with Microsoft when someone makes unauthorized purchases using your card on file. I had to get my bank involved to get my money back since Microsoft would barely do anything to resolve the issue.

So I really like that Amazon has this service available. I get an instant code for a Live subscription seconds after checkout, and piece of mind knowing Microsoft doesn't have any of my card info. Trust me, don't keep your card on file on your Xbox. It's safer and saves you headache in the long run.

I am pretty disappointed with Amazon right now. I bought two (2) of these 3 month cards because it showed it was buy-one-get-one.. So one purchase of a 3 month card came with a second. This did not occur with either one. After further investigation, I am not the only one that had this happen. Not only did it say "SPECIAL OFFER: Receive an additional 3 month with purchase", it was ADVERTISED as that.
As a huge Amazon customer, I hope this is resolved for all of us.

Error trying to redeem. Microsoft said it is a known issue and they are working on it, not ETA at this time. I read on other media/forums that many other people are having same issue redeeming. We are dead in the water until they fix this I guess.

Not for US region!!!

There is no indication when ordering this card that it is not for the US region. When it arrived I did notice it said EU region on it, but I did not know it mattered (no idea why it would...same price). Imagine my son's disappointment when his gift from Santa came up with an error about not being for his region when entering the code! I had to do so quick finagling and spend another $60 to get a code directly from Microsoft. It should be criminal to sell something that works regionally only and not declare it.

Super fast digital delivery of code (less than a minute after finalizing purchase). YESSSS. Son thrilled. When he loaded it up, appeared to actually give him 13 months of Live. Not sure how he got the bonus month or if he was supposed to, but noooot complaining.

Tried to use a $50 Visa debit gift card, but with tax, turned out to be $52 something, so card couldn't be used, since Amazon policy appears to disallow mixed payments with debit gift cards and regular credit cards. Not a complaint, just something to note for others who may be buying with $50 debit gift cards.

I normally buy a membership for my niece and she had my card on her x-box. That is, until someone hacked her account. I was leery about putting my card back on her system because I worried if it happened again, they might get my card information and that would be a nightmare. Been there, done that, but at a restaurant and not her Xbox.

Worked perfectly. I purchased the code, they sent me an email containing the code, I sent it to her in a text, and she renewed her membership on her Xbox One. The whole process took about 1 minute from purchase to activation.
