Received my Xbox One X Jedi Fallen Order bundle via UPS Friday and it was smashed and taped up on one end. After opening the shipping box found superficial damage to the Xbox packaging but no packing slip or any other paperwork. The system seams to be working great, Jedi Fallen Order is running great, but I can't figure out how to redeem the pre order bonus of Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2. No codes included in the box, no codes via email or text...
It says plane as day
"Pre-order the Xbox One X Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order bundle
Receive 2 additional games:
STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic and

So I guess it’s a hit or miss when purchasing a One X through this program. Some were approved instantly and able to place their orders instantly like me and others had bigger headaches to deal with after going back and forth with Microsoft and amazon. Overall the package arrived with no damage and on time.

However buyer beware... after reading the terms and conditions in a very fine print there is a line the reads. “In order to upgrade, you must trade in your existing Xbox console (in good condition) and purchase the next Xbox console with Xbox All Access, under a new 24-month agreement.”

This is ridiculous...

From purchase to setup, I am pretty pleased. However the hiccups were there.

While others chose All Access, which is actually separate from this bundle offer, considered a "new model." I chose the Black Friday limited time offer, then paying in equal installments over 12 months, using Amazon Prime Visa. I did this, because I converted from Live Gold to Ultimate Access, recently, and have two years prepaid. Over two years, though, the Xbox One X bundle is actually cheaper, when considering Ultimate is two thirds of the cost. On top of that, All Access requires a Capitol One credit check, and I didn't want that in my wallet.

The order was shipped across the country, why? I don't know, I would have thought the local Amazon warehouse would have had it ready for same day delivery. When it arrived, it was raining, though no attempt was made to deliver it to the door. It was dropped 6ft over the fence. Strange, you tell them once, deliver over the fence for a soft package you weren't going to be home for, then for the rest of your life everything gets tossed over the fence, no matter what it is. Fortunately only the outer box got soaked. The rest remained dry.

Somethings I noticed. The Xbox One X was made mid 2019, yet Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a new game bundle. There was a secondary set of circular stickers sealing the sleeve to the packaging. Also the primary box was dusty. I have a theory. Somewhere along the chain, the box was opened, and the contents replaced/changed/updated, then the bundle sleeve was added. I don't know who does this, Microsoft or Amazon.

I was disappointed that the game was a digital download, and not a disc. The item presentation suggests a disc. Still, I cannot play the game. After downloading over night, it has 11 hours left. Not everyone has gigabit.

Setting up the unit wasn't as easy as documentation suggested. The iPhone Xbox App does not use the camera, therefore you cannot use the QR code to set things up. Also because the unit was so old, there was a 700MB+ update required and this disrupted and complicated the setup. Where I could type in a code to setup the unit from my phone, it forgot after the update, and I had to do it again on reboot - the iPhone app was no longer able to participate. Also, I had to manually enter codes to add the game license and extend Xbox Live Gold, by 20 days. What ever happened to using the camera and OCR to read the codes? Oh that feature is with the QR code reader - non-existent.

I replaced my Blu-Ray player with the bundle, on a new 4K TV. I decided to reuse the HDMI High Speed 1.4 cable, already run to the previous component. This may have been the source of screen blackouts during setup. I have reseated the cable and it hasn't blackout since. But the situation has been noted.

I liked that the Xbox detected the TV was 4K and a switched over to the higher setting.

Got mine delivered in 1 day. Was delivered pristine, unopened with every seal on the box still secure. Brand new. After set up it worked flawlessly and I had my account transferred to this new Xbox in no time. I redeemed the Jedi Order code with no issues at all and installed it and played it right away, and it is fantastic! I'm baffled about the issues people say they had with opened or used products but that was not my experience at all. Quite pleased! I'll keep you informed if there is anything adverse that happens to it.

Purchasing the Xbox all-access deal through Amazon was a great deal. It isn't a scam but an official deal you can look up on microsoft.com. You do have to have a credit check fun through Citizen one. This took much longer than they make it seem during the purchase process. It took four hours to get my credit line set up email and another four for Citizen One to notify Amazon that I was approved so you have to be patient. Once the credit line is approved you can re-enter the purchase and choose them as a payment option.

The bundle itself is a pretty great deal. You get the xbox, a game and controller, xbox game pass, and a gold membership plus the option to upgrade to project Scarlett after 12-18 months. Can't beat all that!

Purchased this to replace an original aged XBO. Took a bit to get the 4K settings to play nice with my Vizio E65 but so far very pleased. The 1TB internal is really nice and is double my prior box. I am in the process this weekend to schedule migrating games from old to new. Made this new X my home Xbox, the old will be moved to another room temporarily and I'll attempt first time Network transfers of the installed games and save data.

This is my 3rd Xbox purchase from Amazon over the years and so far so good. 360 in 2008, XBO in 2014 and now this X. Ordered on Monday, scheduled delivery for Friday the 6th with other items. Seemed to ship late and account said delivery was changed to Monday. Pleasantly surprised to see "out for delivery" yesterday, the day requested. Well done amazon.

Xbox went black screen less than 24 hours after receiving. Rebooted and got something went wrong error. After hours of troubleshooting & talking with Microsoft support I was told to return for repairs that would take up to 15 business days to get it back. No thanks! I'll get my money back.

Got the console when promised. Plugged everything in and found the unit was DOA. Common problem I think network card was toast or something.
My dilemma was to either return it to seller or bring it in to a Microsoft store. I would up boxing it back up and booking an appointment at the MS store. Since it was so recently purchased, they replaced it with a new console and everything is back up and running.
Can't really reward or fault this seller for that issue but full kudos to MS for standing behind their product and making things easy for us consumers.

I must say my next purchase of MS hardware will definitely be through their retail store or website.

Bought this Xbox for my son for Christmas. He hooked it up and it work for about 20 minutes then froze up. Restarted it and it kept stalling on boot screen. Call tech support and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it and gave no direction on what to do next. Now it won’t start at all. Would of give it zero stars if I could.

Return Window Closed 31 Jan. 2020.
Tried unsuccessfully to upload Forza 6 from the DVD, so played it from the disc. 21 Feb. 2020.
Product started responding irregularly to commands from the controller 23 Feb. 2020, it will skip when i scroll left-right, it wouldn't stay on any item i scroll up-down and i hear a ping-sound, with no other response when i press "A".
Not a good investment, $450 + time spend on multiple phone calls to; machines, polite (yet unhelpful customer care agents), and long holds.
I will go buy another controller, it might be the controller and not the console. . . . . . . . . . . fingers crossed!
