This is most likely the best controller I've ever felt. 25+ years of gaming, countless systems and controllers, and I absolutely love this new redesigned from Microsoft for the XB1. My biggest complaint was with the bumpers, had a hard time with games like Killer Instinct because they were just too difficult to use. Now, with the redesign they're very "clicky" allowing me to easily slide and press. I also like the feel of the controller and the rubber on the sticks actually stick to my thumbs without slipping, unlike the DS4 which slides often.

Not a bad purchase for a Halo Fan

I purchased this controller around the last Christmas period because I wanted a controller with the new headphone jack.
However even though it is a standard Xbox One controller there are some issues such as:
The home button is not as responsive as the regular controller that comes with the console and from time to time the B button doesn't respond when needed.
Also the new headphone jack has no way of allowing volume adjustment unless the headphone you are using has controls on it, thankfully the Polk Audio headset I have has the adapter included for the original audio output so I still find myself using that even though I now have the new headphone Jack.
Not a bad purchase if you are a Halo fan but not really worth the extra cash when compared with the regular controller.

Bought it as a birthday gift.I can't give a clear evaluation of this controller other than it looks amazing. It's the first Xbox One controller I've touched and I'm amazed at how people can play with the directional pad being one complete button. Other than that I'm impressed with the improvements from the Xbox controller; it's a bit more slender, but the added weight feels comforting in a way. I haven't noticed any lag between button and screen, and it's plug to play, unlike the PS controller that required a 3rd party program.

For any halo fan. Or any fan of Halo. Or for any fan of sweet color schemes. I personally didn't like Spartan Locke at first but since he helps the MC at the end he is an alright guy. I would personally like to see a Spartan Palmer controller. Red and White. That would be narly. But since I am a big fan of light blue and silver and a huge Halo fan, this controller suits me well. Now just gotta convince the lady at home to get me the MC controller... Wish me luck. Haha

It was a good controller for a year and a half but the plastic on the left bumper snapped off exposing sharp edges and springs. We looked at replacing the part but it was a difficult fix and in the end we ended up buying a new controller.

Very beautiful controller, with not many issues but there is a game breaking malfunction the left analog stick moves slightly forward by itself so in games my character will be moving forward by itself. Got a big deal in most games but navigating through netflix is a nightmare, and playing fortnite (reviving, holding still for aim etc) is a a pain. Only used it about 5 times prior to the issue apearing.

The controller is nice, works about as well as my regular controllers, but looks much better. I bought with the matching headset (had to replace that on warranty also, didn't work out of the box). 5 star looks, 1 star reliability.
