All Windows 10 PCs should be able to capture screenshots in games, no matter what video card you have. To capture game clips, however, your PC’s video card must support one of these encoders:

  • Intel Quick Sync H.264
  • NVidia NVENC
  • AMD VCE

To check your video card, go to the search box on the taskbar and search for “device manager.” In Device Manager, expand Display adapters.

    NOTE: It does not come with batteries, but this is stated and to be expected.

    I will update in a few months regarding the durability, but as for right now I would definitely recommend this controller!

    Great controller. Love the color design and the diamond grips. 3months of use and no sign of issue. Normally by this time a button starts to stick or joystick moves one way. I'm personally very rough on controllers I put a lot of force on my controllers. From the way I mash buttons and move joystick quick. My hands are very rough and strong. Also forgot to mention the diamond grips help from accidental falls. Which I did a lot with other controllers. Other controllers just slide out your hands. All should have diamond grips.

    The feel of this controller is slightly better than that of similar models from past and present lines. I can't fully describe it other than to say the bumpers felt better to use and less fragile than past designs. Also the rubber grips and slight difference in the thumbsticks were perfect for me. It made for hundreds of hours of comfortable intense gameplay.

    I've owned a lot of Xbox controllers over the years. Most only last about 1500 to 2500 hours of use. This controller met that average and I have zero complaints. I was however super bummed when it finally succumbed to ware.

    I bought this controller on July 13 and by Aug 20 (38 days later) I started noticing that people couldn't hear me while playing RDR2 online. At first I thought it must be a settings issue, because both of my headphones and controller were still very new. I must have spent 2 hours watching YouTube videos and trying different fixes. Online games are impossible to play without comms. Finally, I decided to plug my older controller that I don't use because the buttons are all worn out. Bingo! the mic was working just like normal. I went back to Amazon to see if I could return the faulty controller. What do you know? ("You product is beyond the return date of 30 days"). I don't know if this means anything but the old controller was made in Seattle by Microsoft. This one? China. Very upsetting to know that I have to shell out another $50 bucks and take a gamble that another one won't fail also.
