The sink is solid, efficient (high temps fall FAST when those fans spin up full), and very quiet when load is low to average, owing to the cooling being distributed to two fans (2 fans = 1/2 the speed for the same amount of cooling as 1 fan). This is similar to how a quadcopter is much quieter than a single rotor heli, for those in the hobby. With my setup, I used my electronics hobbyist knowledge to build a simple external MOSFET speed controller that uses a thermistor sensor to vary power supply to the two fans, coming straight from a free molex connector right at the power supply.Read more ›
Pros: Feels VERY solid when attached, very quiet (some dislike the rubber fan mounts, I LOVE them, no vibration!) comes with an extra set of the rubber mounts for when you add your second fan. Cools my X4 955 Black Edition Overclocked keeping me well under 60c with stock voltage. Cheap for what you're getting, easily a Zalman competitor! Not heavy enough that I'd be worried about warping a motherboard.
I will be selling this cooler and the additional fan from its push pull set-up for 20 dollars (after 3 years of use!) for a closed loop liquid cooler from Antec.
Cons: The fins are very flexible and tend to get bent a little during fan install. Its large size could be seen as a con for some motherboards (interfering with ram heat sinks).

I have only one complaint that I just realized. I had my computer apart today, and all four of the nut caps that hold the cooler to the board were very loose. Read morePublished on September 28, 2013 by Jason
I bought two of these for new PC builds. Installation was easy, and they seem to be doing their job.
I'm not overclocking my system, or pushing any kind of boundaries. Read more
This heatsink is extremely good for the price. Its cheap, keeps a amd triple core with fourth core unlocked at 3.0 ghz at 28-30c idle, battlefield 3 running at 48c. Read morePublished on January 15, 2013 by Michael
