Directions

I've been using Xlear for a few years now and the bottles with my most recent order are different. They spray a fine mist which doesn't quite get enough of the chemical where it needs to go. After multiple attempts on multiple nights the new bottle just doesn't clear my nasal congestion like the old bottles did.

The Xlear nasal spray deserves my time of a positive review to help others. I am a dental hygienist and took a continuing education course explaining the Xlear xylitol nasal spray while our office was on lockdown as required due to the Covid pandemic back in April 2020. I was pretty apprehensive to return to work due to my profession being extremely high risk for Covid conception. I have known for decades the benefits of Xylitol in chewing gums to prevent tooth decay and even help to remineralize early decay in teeth. The idea of adding Xylitol to a nasal spray seemed brilliant. My state allowed the dental offices to start working again in early May. I have a family of 4. I bought bottles for all of us and labeled names with permanent markers so we wouldn’t mix them up. I bought extra bottles for work and my purse and even my camper. I have been using the nasal spray every morning and night, and also if I am around someone suspicious (they tell me they are coughing because of allergies or they are over Covid, but still have a cough) since early May. I also use it before going into stores and before attending my kids sporting events. My kids and I have stayed Covid free.

Here is where it gets interesting. My husband tested positive for Covid about 5 weeks ago. He confessed to me that he was not using the Xylitol nasal spray. We were all under quarantine with him in the same house. The kids and I used Xlear even more frequently. We were the only ones that did not catch Covid!!! I also always seem to get a nasty cold with a cough like clockwork every October. I didn’t get one this year.

I feel like this testimony needs to be shared. I am a huge believer of the Xlear product and tell my friends and patients about it frequently. I hope the word really gets out, so more people are helped and also so this company never goes out of business.

I have had chronic sinus infections for years to the point of having lost 90% of my ability to smell anything, including skunk. I have been on multiple rounds of antibiotics, steroids for inflammation, used mucus relief medications, allergy relief nasal sprays, saline nasal sprays, you name it I’ve tried it. About 3 months ago I had yet another sinus infection that I was trying to self treat with using everything listed above except for the steroids/antibiotics without success. As a last ditch effort before going on steroids/antibiotics yet again, I went to the local health store and the guy there recommended this stuff. I initially used it every 3-4 hours and within a week my sinuses felt better than they had in years! I have continued to use it about 3 x a day now and my sense of smell has actually returned! I am nurse and am around sick people on almost a daily basis and during the winter months was sick a lot! (Yes I got my flu shot) This winter in spite of having been around lots of sick people I have remained healthy. If I feel a sniffle coming on I increses my usage of this stuff and it never developes into anything. So if you have Sinus problems give this stuff a try it has really been a life changer for me.

Each member of my family has been using Xlear Nasal Spray for many, many years because we each suffer with chronic sinusitis. It has saved us from numerous sinus infections and doctor visits over the years. Our family doctor even questioned what we were doing differently because we were not visiting with the frequency we used to. He proceeded to write down the name of the product so he could tell his other patients about it.
I am extremely sad to say that unfortunately something has changed in the recent formulation. I noticed sodium chloride has been added to the ingredients of the newer formulation. Each use with this new formula creates extreme irritation and no longer promotes sinus drainage as it used to. It also has a bit of a scent, which the other did not. I did, however, notice a difference in the label. The new and irritating version has a label with a 20 year medallion printed on it, whereas the previous version does not. I have reached out to the company and am hopeful they can go back to the old formula or at least locate a few that they can sell me.

After 60 years of not being able to breathe clearly from my left nostril, it is such a blessing to have discovered Xlear.
Trips to doctors, diagnostic light fibers guided up my sinus passages, antibiotics, steroids, sprays, rinses, anti-inflamatories.
have been tried, all to no avail.

The very first use of Xlear I could tell there was hope. The second use I could breathe!

The real test was to attempt to sleep since lying down insured me that left nasal passage would swell and nothing, but nothing, would clear them.

If I can’t breathe, I can’t sleep. So many nites were spent sitting up and dozing, Sure enough with Xlear, I can breath all nite long.

Beyond breathing, the biggest benefit is no pills are needed, and the steroid and decongestant nose sprays tha jack your blood pressure can go in the trash.

I can’t wait to go to bed again tonite and not need my regalia of sprays, potions, and pills ...just my bottle of Xlear to get a great nites sleep.

If you find yourself reaching for Afrin a lot -- not a good thing because of the rebound effect -- then Xlear is a blessing. A stuffy nose used to wake me up during the night or too early in the morning. Hasn't happened since I started using Xlear. Keeps me breathing without congestion. Works better than saline sprays. Wish I had this years ago.

I have some kind of weird Rhinitis, I've tried Everything! I mean Everything! There are some good creams out there that will tackle an infection. That's it! Don't bother with saltwater/saline washes etc etc, I've flushed and rinsed & stuck creams up my nose for many years.

This Xylitol stuff, is really very good, it worked for me straight away and so far the only side effect is slight sugary taste after you use it, and no or very little Rhinitis - Meaning I can breathe, don't have pain or discomfort, very few sores and scabs, even in the morning very little green/bloody mucus, my nose is 'almost' normal.

Been using this now most days for a while, still very effective, but occasionally, maybe once every 2 weeks I still have to use some nasal cream. One other thing I found to help a lot with inflammation is Turmeric supplements.

I get bad hayfever and other allergies. I hate taking antihistamines as they knock me out so I prefer to use eye wash and nasal sprays. I've tried to use saline spray in the past but I always have a really hard time with it and end up feeling much worse.

This xylitol spray works so much better for me. I think the price is a bit on the high side but given that it's the only thing that works for me I'll keep buying it.

Xlear also do a sachet version but, although it works, it's such a faff because you have to use boiled water and if you want fast relief it takes too long. So I decided to just pay a bit more and get the spray and is much easier so I'll probably just get this from now on.

I got this as I have allergies and a blocked nose half the time. The Vicks spray works well for me, but obviously that's no good long term as your beak gets dependent on it.

But this, blimey. I can only assume this has a different effect on different people, given the number of positive reviews there are. It's absolutely useless for me. If anything it seems to make a blocked nose worse. It doesn't seem to be much more than oddly sweetened, slightly salty water, and my nose reacts with disdain. The hunt for something non-addictive that actually works goes on.
