Health Starts with the Right Cookware. Think cookware first, food second!
Spending lots of time planning/preparing your foods may not be getting you the healthiest and most flavorsome results. Unfortunately, many of today’s most popular cooking surfaces leach unwanted metallic flavors and chemicals into your food, making them dangerous to your health. Fortunately, with Xtrema pure ceramic cookware, you can enjoy a versatile cooking experience that gives you healthy, tasty results and easy cleanup.
Xtrema pure ceramic cookware is not only handcrafted using a unique ceramic clay formula that is 100% natural, we also use sustainable manufacturing practices that assure minimal impact on the environment. We rigorously inspect and test our cookware to ensure its safety, quality and durability. Unlike metal cookware manufacturers, we also post the results of our tests for our customers to review.
Safe, Healthy Pure Ceramic Cookware: Tested and Approved. California Prop 65 & FDA Certified.
Pure Ceramic: Our natural ceramic cooking surface generates a heating energy that cooks food from the inside and outside at the same time. This heat energy enhances the flavors of the food while using lower temperatures and slower cooking.
Even heat distribution: You can trust that your food will heat evenly, rather than remaining cold on the sides and too hot on the bottom. Ceramic is a natural distributor of heat.

Expensive - Compared to all other pots of this size, it's way up there.
Fragile - This is my second Xtrema saucepot. The first one chipped on the first day when I knocked it against the sink divider, then completely cracked a few weeks later. (I wasn't even aware of knocking it again.)
Can scratch glass cooktops. Never slide it.
Cannot be nested in your cabinets.
Cannot use metal in it.
Handles heat up. You need pot holders to empty it.
Cooks thoroughly from inside and out simultaneously.
You can serve right from this pot.
No chemical or elemental leeching. The healthiest form of cookware.
Can be used in the microwave, oven or on the stovetop.
There's a lot of cons here, but overall, if you're careful, this is the one to go with.
It is so lightweight - I can't believe it. I had an Emile Henry ceramic stovetop pot which was twice as heavy and cost twice as much. And the E Henry cracked with normal use after one year (replaced it and the same thing happened).
I am so so glad to have found this. It has a 50 year warranty! (Great for my grandgirls).
It is attractive, so easy to use and clean. This is just a wonderful pot
(I noticed another reviewer said this pot requires special care. I've only had about a week, use it every day. It does not feel fragile to me. I really don't take any special care.)
[I Just realized Amazon does not have this on PRIME. They should!)
morning hot cereal in it and eat right out of the pot. Saves me from washing another dish.
It's easy to scrub off the cereal residue as well, which was not an easy task on stainless
steel. Look forward to cooking rice in it.
Update: Finally cooked brown rice in this pot and it is easy. The rice comes out consistently fluffy following the recommended cooking time. That wasn't the case with my stainless steel pot...cooking time varied and texture of rice was unpredictable, but not so with this wonderful pot.
