XtremeVision LED Canceller Capacitors

XtremeVision LED canceller capacitors are a solution choice when It comes flickering issues when installing LED conversion kits. Our LED canceller capacitors are only require by certain vehicles, that is why they are sold separately from LED conversion kits. It may solve flickering issues for compatible vehicles. Compatible vehicles including: Ford, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Hyundai, Jeep, Mercedes Benz, etc. The canceller capacitors are fully Plug-and-Play, allowing for a quick and easy installation.

Reverse Polarity

If you install the canceller and they do not turn on you may have reverse polarity. What this means is the power and ground wires on your vehicles stock harness are reversed. What you will have to do is plug the harness connector into the light backwards. You will be plugging in the connector from your car into the kit backwards. This will not harm the vehicle or the canceller.

Important Notes:

If Error Code Canceller Capacitor is not compatible in solving the error/flicking issue, please try our load resistor instead which solve most issues for LED applications.

Resolved the Flicker in DRL mode

I purchased these for my 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander after upgrading my halogen headlights to LED. My car is is equipped with Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) which operate at 9V. The LED bulbs (which are rated for 8v) worked well, but had a VERY fast flicker in DRL mode that bothered me (I'm very particular and most people probably wouldn't notice or care). After running these in line, the flicker completely went away. The only "drawback" is that now, my DRL brightness and full beam brightness is the same, whereas it used to be slightly less bright in the 9v DRL mode. I purchased to resolve the flicker, which they did, so I'm 100% satisfied with them! (I know these are also for error codes etc... I never had any error related issues before or after with my vehicle so I cannot comment on that).

Works exactly as advertised in my 2009 Toyota Corolla S. I purchased a set of LED headlight bulbs for my high beams, which was also my day time running lights. My daytime running lights flickered really bad until I installed these and all the flicker is gone while retaining my high beam functionality. NOTE**** other reviewers left bad reviews because it caused the bulbs to stop working. It is because it was polarity sensitive, if it doesn't work then flip the plug around.

***UPDATE**

I thought they worked as intended but turns out, they causes my DRLs to go full power high beam and then when I use my high beams, the low beams comes on. Weird stuff so took them out.

My Outback had pretty poor headlights. You had to run the foglights to really see down the road. I ordered a set of low beam headlights first. They were bright, but the low beams are also the DRL running lights so now they would flicker quickly. I unplugged the DRL module to turn them off. I then ordered high beam and foglight bulbs. I put the HB bulbs in, and it made the high beam indicator on the dash stay on, whether the low or high beams would be on. Also the fog lights would not turn back on, if you turned them off. I stopped right there and started shopping. Dang there are so many different people selling these things, with varied reviews. The one for the 9005 bulb was pretty nice. The plugs matched, but will plug either way so you have to turn them around till you get the right polarity. It completely cleared up the problem with the highbeam indicator and foglights. I then put the one on the low beams, which are the H7. They clearly could do a better job with these. The H7 uses two flat prongs. Looks very much like a 120 volt plug. Instead of putting plugs on them, they simply put spade connections on the wires. They fit and work, but now you have all this exposed electrical connections that could easily short out and cause who knows what issues. Not to mention, the male end spade connections that plug into the cars harness, would not stay plugged in. We had to rig the plug which actually cracked it, then we had to use heat shrink on all of it to protect it from shorting. It did work though, I was able to plug back in my DRL module, and the headlights do not flicker. Only thing they run at full bright, so you do have the risk of driving off at night not realizing you didn't turn on the headlights. Risk of that is, no taillights. In most cars, this Subaru included, the dash lights come on with the key so that is not an indicator that the headlights are on. Only indication, is the headlight on indicator so be careful. Don't risk getting rear-ended because you didn't have your lights on. Get in the habit of turning them on, or even just leave the headlights on all the time if your car turns them off with the key. Then you don't have to worry about it. Long story short, these did what they were intended to do but did require some extra work to use safely.

Installed in a 2012 ram 1500 with quad lights. Had a very slight flicker with the new leds I installed but enough to notice and annoy the typical perfectionist, so I went and purchased these. First, the module is thicker than expected but I was still able to finesse it into my housing with some patience. Second, I ran the modules for some time, 10-15 minutes or so, before reassembling the headlights and found that they run warm but not hot, and this is in Arizona where it’s already hot. Lastly, they fixed the minimal flickering and easily made my headlights shine slightly brighter as they are now receiving the power they need to function smoothly and effectively. Would recommend 100%, don’t listen to the losers who are butt-hurt because they got a bum unit.

So I bought this item due to flickering of my light. So I would be in my car in the park position. I would be in front of the store so I could see the reflection of the the headlight flickering. So I bought them installed it the first time one did work notice the difference right away. I installed the second one and nothing, didnt even turn on. Was upset went back inside drank some water lol. I go back outside and start looking at it and studying it. So I look at the female side and it has a + and a - so I connect the the dots and there it is fixed. But now I have a second issue and now my high beams are on automatically. I remove the female from Male ends and leave them
Disconnected. I ordered my second pair which I received today. Installed it and my high beams automatically turned off. My low and high beams work perfect.

Was going to return this because once I plugged it in, the high beams and DRL stopped working. Found you need to plug the positive cable into the green coming off the harness. Once the capacitors get charged (takes about 3-5 seconds) the flicker on the DRL goes away. Downside is they are full brightness now. Shouldn't be an issue during the day anyway. If your lights don't work once plugged in, flip the cable around. Couldn't be happier!!!

I purchased Fahren LED headlights for my 2011 Sienna and finally after 6 months have gotten the flickering to stop. These are the 3rd set I have ordered and even though the connectors do not fit, I was able to tape them together and the flickering stopped. The reason for my 2 star review is the connectors that didn't work without taping them and the very difficult customer service I had to deal with in order to get this problem resolved.

Quality control issues.

Installed these anti-flicker harnesses on my 2010 JK Wrangler with JW Speaker LED headlights. The product works except one of the two supplied harnesses was dead on arrival.

Half marks for half the supplied product working.

Would have returned for a refund but had to modify the vehicle side CANBUS connectors and wasn't willing to haggle with the seller about returning a modified $20 item.

Bought harnesses from another seller and haven't had any issues...replacement harnesses from another supplier both worked out of the box.
