Alene Keenan spent 22 years as a mega yacht stewardess, traveling the Caribbean, Spain, France, Italy, Norway, Turkey, New England, the Bahamas, Alaska, and Mexico. She has had an amazing career and can show you how to do it, too. Her monthly column, "Stew Cues" in the yachting publication, The Triton: Nautical News for Captains and Crews, has been a must-read guide for tips and advice to stews for years. Alene is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the Yachting Capital of the World. She is an author and luxury service educator. Alene creates customized procedures and operations manuals for yacht owners and management companies as a consultant and travels worldwide to conduct training on location aboard yachts. As course writer for the Professional Yachting Association (PYA) and GUEST certified courses at Maritime Professional Training in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she now offers online education. She stays on top of industry happenings locally and worldwide as a marine industry speaker and consultant.
