For those still interested, it has a good wheel adjustment and can fit down to 26" tires and up to 29ers. Mine is set at 27.5 like I have on my bike and it fits the front tire very securely. After I got it, I drove the bike around for roughly 50 miles and it didn't budge at all. If you have a VW, the rack fits well on the OEM bars.
You don't have to take the front wheel off the bike to load it (yay!) AND the rack does NOT clamp onto the fork (which makes it perfect for a bike with a carbon fiber fork).
The rack comes with a built-in cable lock to secure your bike when it's on your car. This lock won't stop a master thief -- it's there to prevent an amateur from grabbing your bike and dashing.
But the rack does NOT come with the lock's core (the part where you insert the key) which you need to make it work.
You can buy the core on Amazon here. Yakima RPL, Core, A132, SKS .
Note that the cores are numbered. If you only have this one, it doesn't matter which core number you buy, but if you already own a couple you want to be sure to order one with a serial number that matches all the others, so one key will fit all your locks. (The number is stamped on the key). In other words, if the locks that hold the crossbars on your car are all core A1234, you want to order that same number again.
Clear as mud? You bet!
Bike is held firmly and locks into place via front Red Knob, rear is a ratcheting type and does a great job of holding the rear in place. I've used this on my 2015 Honda Odyssey EXL w/ RES. I was able to mount this bike rack onto my OEM roof rails and crossbars. See Pictures for detailed installation of the bike rack.
I also used this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NQ196FK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Fits perfectly into this bike rack. Please note the BOTH key cores are used. One for locking bike rack onto the crossbars, the other is for the bike lock that comes with this bike rack.

Installation/Removal (Frontloader to Vechical)
It is very quick to attach and remove the Frontloader, needing to only twist two located on the front and back (hint: loosen them prior to lifting the frontloader to the top of the car, and install the front end first since the back is adjustable). I installed it on my own in less than one minute. Removal is just as simple though may take longer if you purchased the additional locks.
Installation/Removal (Bike to Frontloader)
This is just as simple. Ensure the red knot in front is loosed enough to allow the frontloader to flip forward (may not make sense until you see it in action) Grab the bike by the back of the frame and front fork. Place you back wheel on the back of the Frontloader and then place your in the allowed slot. Tighten the red knob to secure, and buckle the back as well. Removal is just as simple.
Researching this I read many reviews of concerns people had.
- It's made of plastic:
This is true, the majority of the product is plastic with the exceptions of a few securing points and the cable. I live in an area (Hawaii) with a lot of salt in the air. Metal is the enemy to me and I actually like the plastic since it wont rust and is light weight (still durable though).
- Will it fit my car:
For the most part if you have rooftop bars it will work. While the back of the Frontloader is adjustable the front is not and must be places X (how every long it is) distance from the front cross bar as the front is not adjustable. This was a bit annoying to me because I have factory set crossbars and I can not adjust the front. This prevented me for being to use my trunk (pictured) however, I do not see why I can't just place the whole device on backwards. If I reverse the way the bike is facing the end part that blocks my trunk from opening would not longer be an issues. I'm not sure if this would take away from stability but I do not see how it could.
- The locks are sold separately:
Yep, I agree, it should be stranded and one of the reasons I gave it 4 stars.
4 stars becuase the locks are not standard and the design does not allow the front to be adjusted. Overall, great product, light and easy to use.

Si monta in pochissimi minuti e in un minuto metti la bici su e la blocchi.
Buoni materiali con cui è fatto ed è anche bello esteticamente.
Lo consiglio vivamente.
