The guitar (nylon?) is very forgiving sound-wise and easy to play. Seems like my errors are magnified on my Seagull S6, and it could be a nylon vs. steel string thingie. I'm not sure, I've only been playing 4 weeks or so.
Anyways, for the price, I'm very happy about the purchase, it's a great starter guitar for very young children. And if he grows disinterested, I'm not out a lot of money.
I think if my son was 10 or 11, I wouldn't get this one but I'd get a concert-sized guitar (smaller than dreadnought). Just something to think about for you parents out there looking at this product.

I wanted a guitar to play around for small gigs. I bought it specifically for a friend of mine's small party.
I didn't have an acoustic or classical style guitar, so I wanted something cheap but also something that would
push sound. The gig called for some jazz/bossa-nova feel that is soft but a bit pungent. This guitar worked perfectly
for that occasion. Alot of people buy this for a beginner guitar for their kid or for practice only. I'd say it's great for
small performance too. I bet it would hold up in a regular concert too, especially since it has a spruce top and a slick
What I Like About It:
- Soft and Warm tone, but pushes the sound out with the Spruce Top.
- The Neck is extremely soft and smooth, but not glossy.
- The body looks gorgeous and the bridge looks tight and fit.
What I Don't Like About It:
- The tune knobs. The color and plastic is not for me. But they work just fine.
- It does have a "cheap" essence to it.
- Not gig bag or picks; but did come with strings already on it.
Last Remarks & Tips :
Get a gig bag for this guitar. It's essential. You won't wanna just lug this thing around getting banged up,
it's actually built well. Also, put some new guitar strings on it before you play a show or actually want to sound
good. The guitar strings on it are not bad, but there are markings on them from the frets; being packaged up tightly.
