Let me first off say Selena Kitt knows how to write a sex scene ..So, if you are looking for a quick read with lots of steamy, smutty, and hot moments then go read Yank.
From what I read, the story-line of Yank is related to her previous book Naughty Bits. I have never read Naughty Bits but from my understanding Yank is a little less naughty but still has the same steamy hot sex scenes.
Yank focus on David and Dawn. David, a Brit grew up with childhood friend Dawn, an American who is currently staying with David and his family while she is in her study abroad program in England. David soon finds himself attracted and being seduced by Dawn. He can no longer deny his sexual attraction to her and soon there are lots of steamy and hot moments between these two.
What I really like about this book, is that it was all from David's POV. Its refreshing to hear the inner thoughts of a man and his struggle to keep his pants on while a hot woman is trying to have her ways with him. Selena Kitt did a great job in allowing readers to get a man's perspective during those sex scenes.
The only problem that I had with the book was the ending. It felt so rushed and I felt Selena Kitt could have drawn it out a little more. Overall, I enjoy this quick read. I liked this book better than Hussy. I would rate this book a 3.5
So, it pains me to do so but only 3 stars for this - and that's mainly for the steamy sex scenes.
Selena Kitt has an amazing talent for erotic storytelling, so if you enjoy hot, explicit romance, you will not be disappointed. A sexy, 5-star read!
If you are in the mood for something short, slutty and with hot characters and a hot story to read... here it is.
The cover of this book is HOT! I enjoyed the characters, although I wish Davey acted a little bit more of a man! Some parts in this book I went WHAT? Can they do that? (cucumber & candle) which I thought was kind of gross! But hey I guess that's what sluts do :) I wish the book was a little longer but only because I was disappointed that it ended. Can't wait to read more of Selena's books.
The two main characters here have a brother-sister "type" of relationship, but they aren't actually related. Dawn is a gorgeous American foreign exchange student with an hourglass figure (a lovely bbw) living with her English host family for the summer and David is the families newly turned 18-year-old son.
Despite their initial innocent brother-sister type relationship (she actually lived across the street from David's family when they were kids and played together frequently), Dawn takes a sudden liking to David and decides to take their relationship to a whole new level when she stumbles on his hidden porn stash.
I loved the way author Selena Kitt described each sexual encounter. The scenes felt real and not forced or fake like other stories I've read. The story had a great pace. You are given a little back-story, then bam, you jumped right into Dawn's initial seduction of David. There's also an interesting "love triangle" with another character, Julie, where things get really hot and steamy.
Overall I just loved the sexual chemistry between Dawn and David. I can't wait to see if there's a sequel featuring these two!
