When I opened the package there was a scrumptious vanilla smell but it seems to come from the label rather than the beans themselves, almost like a scratch and sniff sticker! The beans are plump but I don't taste a lot of vanilla flavor when I use them in nut milks and smoothies. I'm a bit disappointed.
