Yard Butler guarantees all Yard Butler tools for life against any defects in manufacturing or materials. Several Customer Reviews have noted problems with the tool breaking. This was due to defective metal causing the zinc body to be very brittle. As of November 1, 2015 all units are shipping with a new design that eliminates the problem.
