Does not stay inflated
on September 30, 2012
These are great for the five minutes they work. Then one side becomes deflated, then the other side, and soon you have a useless piece of eleven dollar plastic. When the first one I bought leaked air, I figured the kids had just played too rough with it, and got two more (I wanted a back-up). I told the kids to be more careful, and watched them as they sat on the sidewalk and rolled the covered ice cream ball back and forth. Until the cover deflated. This happened with both new covers.
Don't waste money on these. The ice cream ball works fine sans cover. The only situation in which this cover might be practical is a swimming pool. Personally, I've returned the defective covers and am going to try to rig something up with bubble wrap and duct tape. Not as pretty, but form follows function.
