This title is not awful beyond words, it's just a pale shadow of what someone with a decent 3-D camera and the required professional skill could do in a scenic wonder rife with so much possibility. I won't buy any more of their titles until I've seen a lot of positive reviews indicating they've gone to school and learned how to shoot a documentary.
I won't criticize the narrator, but they needed someone with a livelier voice and an apparent interest in the subject. Perhaps he was lulled into a hypnotic state by the flute and tom-toms that, used more sparingly, would have been quite effective.
And not to have shown even one eruption of Old Faithful??? Are they kidding?
If I could get my money back I would. I give my highest recommendation NOT to even borrow this movie from your public library.
After waiting quite a while for this, and putting up with the silly pre-release "reviews" about the delay of this release, I was very disappointed.
There a lot of stationary shots that do little or nothing to utilize 3D. It seemed to me the producers would set up a camera, let it run for a few minutes, and then change to another still shot. Were it not for some minor geyser bubbling or wind blowing the grasses, you might think you were watching a still picture.
Also, there is large difference in the loudness between the background the music and narrator, nearly to the point the volume needs to be changed when the voiceover appears.
Certainly the landscapes are very pretty. I feel, however, the film's producers got lazy and relied too much on that rather than finding shots to really make use of the 3D moving picture format.

Further to contacting and complaining to Amazon directly regarding a recent purchase of a Yellowstone Park 3D BluerayDisc DVD.... "Yellowstone 3D" (Americas Greatest Wonder). we were advised by Amazon themselves to publically post the review we sent to them.
We thought it fair that it should be appraised before it was posted as we never have had to post a review which contained so much negativity.
However, we are sad to say that the review was written from the heart just after watching the film, we also then watched another version which was not 3D and produced by someone else and it was more than far superior.
As we still remain with the product and no refund at the moment we remain very dissatisfied. Amazon assure us they look into complaints of this nature very seriously. Let's hope so as we are out of pocket and not too happy.
According to this film, the only animals that live in Yellowstone are elk, buffalo, black bear and grizzly bear. I think not !!! This is quite possibly one of the worst documentaries I've ever seen. Avoid this as the plague.
One last advice to Amazon.co.uk, one request to you. If something is this bad, refuse to sell. Protect the customer against this kind rubbish nonsense.
What a mistake, this is a boring series of panoramic shots with almost no 3d effect.
Rubbish commentary which is clearly by someone who does not use English as their first language.
Really third rate and not worth the money, a rip off.
I have now cancelled forward orders by the same film makers.
I also own dive 3d which is by these people and that is very poor as well.
Very poor and substandard, even if you love your 3d don't waste your money.
He mentions how harsh the winter is and that bison are the only animals that can stand it, yet there was no footage from the winter time.
Like all previous reviews this DVD is appalling should never have been released as it is a cheap shot at a beautiful part of the world and there is no justice given in the film.
