After having installed the Yilador webcam, I found it somewhat odd that I could not record or hear back any audio from several of my USB inputs on the back side of my computer that the webcam was connected to. The only one that would record any sound was the front computer USB input. The computer indicated that the proper drivers were installed and that everything was supposedly working properly yet no audio was being picked up according to the Windows recording device or Skype for that matter. It is suppose to be USB 2 compatible but does not appear to be in my case. I did not have this issue with my Logitech webcam.
When I am able to record audio on the front USB input, there is no method in the software where I can adjust the treble or base of the sound. Consequently, the quality of the recording is very poor.
The video quality is acceptable and focusing is accomplished by turning the lens.
The webcam does sit nicely on my Acer monitor and is easily adjustable to center the video.
There is no LED on the webcam. Consequently, there is no indication if or when the camera is on or recording. This should be a high priority for any privacy concerns.
Overall, I would probably recommend a different webcam.
