Great weighted blanket. Got it while visiting family in cold, wet Oregon and left it with them since it would have put my luggage over weight limits. They gifted me with a different more expensive weighted blanket for Mother’s Day, but I like this one better. Easier to wrap up in, fold and store than my other weighted blanket. Others felt more like very, very heavy beanbags. This one is has quilting that makes it a great blanket comforting but seems more compact like a very heavy quilt. Love it!

Seems like a good quality, weight distribution is good. Sleeps a bit hot, but not as hot as I had expected. The box it arrived in was ridiculously large. Like, super big. I thought they sent a mattress instead. The blanket, being heavy, rolled around in it's giant box so much that it almost broke out of the box. It was ridiculous. But, still 5 stars for the blanket - the box was Amazons fault.

If you want a high intensity training (HIT)workout getting in and out of bed, rolling over, or adjusting the blanket, then this blanket may be for you. The blanket I had was about an inch shorter than advertised and was too short to cover my shoulders without my feet popping out, and vice versa. But the big return factor for me was how difficult it was to get in and out of bed - after the rigors of hoisting the 15 pound behemoth I found myself out of breath like a small cardio workout, making falling asleep more difficult. Then, getting up through the night to use the bathroom made it hard to go back to sleep.

I returned mine... to short and heavy.

I like it and will keep it but there is a flaw. There are loops on the corners and in the middle of each side for attaching a cover. One of these loops is not in the middle (6" off) making it unusable for attaching a cover. Not a huge problem as once you get it on it's not likely to move away from the side. Manufacturing flaw but not worth returning.

It is comfortable and helps me sleep.

While I don't really experience the big calming effect it seems others do - it's a well made blanket. I wanted to try a weighted blanket & not spend top much in case I didn't get results. (I don't, but that's me). I was surprised to receive it and see the quilted squares are about 2 inches - smaller than they looked online. I think that's great - the beads are mixed in with what I guess is fiberfill. With such small compartments it's not going to move around. I do sleep hot & this is too warm for me all night - but I will try again when I'm having trouble falling asleep. It's not unpleasantly heavy... and if you like that experience, I think this is a good, low cost blanket to try.

If a person likes sleeping with a duvet already, they are going to love a weighted blanket. However, if being hot is a terrible thing, avoid all weighted blankets. Try as I might, even partially covered by the weighted blanket I was a raging furnace. I normally just sleep with a sheet with a thin blanket nearby in case I get the chills. I had a 5 year old and a 10 year old try it. Both ended up stopping using it due to heat issues. My 5 year old girl was able to use it the longest but only during the winter when she was sleeping in the room of which we think the insulation has compressed within the walls (the room is typically 17-19C, 63-67F). Other than that room, our house is kept at a consistent 20.5 C to 21.5 C (69F-71F). This specific product is very well made. I'm impressed! No issues I can speak of.

I love my blanket. I've used it for two nights now and both nights I fell asleep faster. I realize that weighted blanket is going to be heavy, but I was surprised at how heavy. Just no pleasing me I guess. Anyway, it changes how one pulls the covers over themself. Where one may flip an eider down around, unless you're Arnold Schwarzenegger, one is going to wiggle under the blanket instead. But that's just incidental. The blanket is comfortable, cool and assists in a good night's sleep. Very happy
