This was the easiest install! First let me say that I had a small flood in my basement so I needed something to alert me ASAP to leaks! These are perfect.
The instructions were simple. Download the app. Create an account. The in app hit ‘add Device’ and your phones opens up a camera scanner. Just aim it at the sensors backside and voila!! Plug the hub into internet cable ( or use wifi). Push a button for 5 seconds, then the app brings up your 2.4 wifi and asks for password. Enter it a boom- your done connecting. Now pick a spot for each sensor and push a tiny button the back. Boom connected. Name each one on the app. Set alarm to ‘on’ in the app. Add your phone number.
Now I’ve got a big house-5600 sq ft. . The hub is upstairs and about 80 feet from the the basement where I put sensor next to sump pump pit. It got a strong 76db signal from that far away and a level below in a finished basement. Wow!
I set it up so if a sensor gets wet it will text me and email me! I also added the YoLink skill to Alexa. I set it to have Alexa say on all my echos that there is an emergency water leak for each different location!!
Amazing and easy and I feel so protected now!! When I was setting it up I had a question, so I called the help number. Can you believe it? I got the designer of the system. His name is John and he was so helpful and patient and a pleasure to talk to!! Try that with a big box company!!

I am very happy I did this purchase. Very easy to install and place. I thought they had also an audible alarm but this seems.to be only for the upgraded version. Still with this I get a notification and an email. I also integrated with IFTTT and get an SMS . I will be purchasing either the alarm or an Alexa ( in case Google don't update google.home to use it ) as I would like to receive an audible alarm while at home.
