Balasana: Child's Pose
On your mat, come onto your hands and knees. Sit back on your heels for Balasana, Child’s Pose. Make sure your third eye, the spot between your eyebrows, touches the floor, or a pillow if you need support. Bring your arms by your sides to relax entirely in the pose. If your bodyweight is pushing you forward, keep your arms in front for support. Put all your attention on the spot between your eyebrows and repeat the mantra 'I am willing to go within for my answers.' Hold for 5 minutes, if it’s relaxing, while repeating the mantra and focusing on your third eye. Resist the resistance to look within.

RINA JAKUBOWICZ is an international bilingual yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner, motivational speaker, and author. Known for her vibrant, uplifting approach to yoga and life, Rina has been a teacher of teach¬ers since 2005, presenting at Yoga Journal conferences, Himalayan Institute, Omega Institute, Kripalu Center, and Wanderlust Festivals, as well as in countries across the globe.
