Yomawari: Night Alone: A young girl is walking her dog Poro around town at dusk when a tragic accident forces her to return home with only Poro'sleash in hand. The girl's sister commands her to stay home while she goes out into the night to search for the dog. Time passes. Growing impatient, the girl decides to search for her missing sister and dog herself. But when she steps foot outside, she realizes that this is not the same town. The darkness has made the town unfamiliar, and she appears to be utterly alone...save for the spirits that stalk her. The girl must hide from, outsmart, or outrun the hunting spirits while she searches for clues to find her loved ones. htol#NiQ: The Firefly Diary: In the depths of a labyrinthine ruin, a young girl named Mion rises from a deep sleep. Lost, alone, and with no memory of how she got here or where her parents are, she is greeted by two fireflies-one composed entirely of light, and another who lurks among the shadows. By shifting between a world of light and a world of shadows, these two fireflies must work together to recover Mion's memories and lead her out of the ruins, where voracious shadow beasts, ancient machines, and treacherous traps lie in wait to bar her path. But what secrets do Mion's lost memories contain? What is the connection between her, the ruins, and the fireflies lighting her escape? The answers may reveal a deeper darkness-one that must be faced from within...

Absolute STEAL for $39.99!

Great special edition for a great price! If you are a prime member then you will get this sweet package for 39.99 rather 49.99, so if amazon still has some of the special editions in Stock then I highly recommend that you buy this ASAP. Oh and the game is absolutely great so far after clocking in 15 hours. I haven't beaten it yet but I will say that this is a very unique game that has some scary/horror elements because even though the game looks cute it's actually darker than you think! Also, this is the perfect game to enjoy during the Halloween season but even.after Halloween ends I can still see myself playing this game until I eventually 100% this game via platinum. It's amazing how all the negative troils say that the vita is dead but this gem of a game is proof that the vita is still delivering great games. Even if this game wasn't released on the vita, there are STILL new games being added to the vita psn store through digital and even physical too! So what are you waiting for? Buy this game asap! It's insane and a freaking BARGAIN to not buy this for $39.99 (prime members) and even $49.99 (none prime members) is STILL a good deal. This could of easily been sold for $59.99 or more due to the amount of cool stuff added to this special edition. I also want to applaud NIS (Nippon Ichi Software) America for bringing this game into the USA, so do yourself a favor which is supporting NIS America into buying this neat little gem of a game.

A very nicely done special edition. I kept pulling things out of the box and I'm surprised at the quality considering the very reasonable price. I'm playing through yomawari now and it's adorable creepy. I feel like this will be a very sought after game and collectors edition someday. The bonus of the second game included really makes this an amazing deal.

This game is such a good deal. You pretty much get two games and extra items (for collector's addition) for 50$. Other games you just get one and some bonus items for the same price. As for the game itself it is pretty interesting. The tutorial is super simple and doesn't explain too much, but the goal of the game is to find your sister and dog. Along the way you will face various of ghosts, monsters, and demons (whatever you would like to call them) and in order to get away from them you run and hide and that is it. It has a very good scary atmosphere and the music plays in very well. I think the only problem some people may have is the fact you have to run away. Not all places have hiding spots, and if you die you re spawn from the last place you save. The saving system in this game I find a little frustrating because in order for you to save you have to give a coin to a statue. If you do not have a coin you cannot save and if you die in the process you start all over. It is a pain but if you can manage your coins wisely then this game is a great addition to your psvita collection.

My order actually arrived earlier than I expected (on the 25th to be exact) which was awesome. Just in time for Halloween! This is a good priced Limited Edition bundle. The only thing it doesn't include from the NISA online bundle is the thermos and mousepad, but overall it's still a fantastic deal. As for the game, well, it's not a walk in the park, but it's, how shall I say it... It has the atmosphere of Silent Hill, the sneak-and-hide tactics of Metal Gear Solid (but without the guns), and the flashlight of Alan Wake. Some may hate it, some may get frustrated, some say that it's short, but heck... I LOVE IT! Highly recommended if you're a survival-horror fan.

After a long while, Yomawari finally got localized! It's a rather simple, yet amazing experience that I've had in quite a while. Despite some caveats like the lack of any real penalties of dying, the game was just long enough to keep me hooked through and through. The lack of any music whatsoever as you play and listen with your headphones with each and every step as the main character's heart fluctuates in the presence of the monsters really sets you in the mood to be scared of the unknown. The other game within the cartridge, The Firefly Diaries, is a nice addition to the overall game. It's been recieved with mixed reviews, but it seems like a great game worth playing nonetheless. The soundtrack and the artbook the collector's edition comes with is also a nice treat too, overall making it well worth it!

What can I say. I pre-ordered this and it came with TWO games! I received an art book and soundtrack for Firefly Diary and Yomawari Night Alone. This game is unique because it presents you with the scare factor without having to use gruesome art. It's the atmosphere that gets you. Sort of like Silent Hill, but with cute art and set in a Japanese city at night. Don't be fooled though, this game can be seriously scary. Great storyline too I highly recommend.

if you missed the old school survival horror games which you can only run away from the monsters then this is a game for you. I personally enjoyed this game I love the character design and even the creepy monsters design its a simple story of searching for someone you care about and i have to say I was really into it. it might be difficult at first for people who are use to games giving them directions regardless a great game

Though short experiences, these games are abundant with atmosphere, intriguing puzzles, and fascinating underlying narratives that a person could spend much time thinking about with how events and concepts stack together. Also, both games are adorable yet simultaneously have gruesome implications. I highly recommend these titles to anyone interested in above. This review can't do these games justice.
