I was naturally lazy when it came to looking after myself but after listening to few of her tapes and videos, I changed this.
I can honestly say that after applying few of her advices, I have managed to turn my life around. I am positive, confident and I believe that we can achieve anything we want as long as we make our brain understand it is what we really want and it gives us pleasure in doing this.
Like many other mature woman, I did not really want to look and feel older but I was focusing on the wrong and negative values of being older instead on focusing how to stay alert, youngish and happy and replenishing my cells.
Someone mentioned in their review that this is nothing new, the power of the mind. True but it is not what we say that is most important, it is how we say it and Marisa says it beautifully. She explains things and gives examples that give you that 'aha' moment.
I originally bought You Can Be Younger as a Kindle book but today, I bought it again as a paperback. I find it easy to read motivational books as real books as opposed as ebooks, because I can go back and forward rapidly.
I am very grateful to Marisa Peer. She may be a famous therapist and caters for the rich and famous, yet, she did not forget the 'little people''. You can feel she doesn't write for fame but from a genuine desire to help everyone. Her books are actually affordable and I love the fact that we have a therapist who is British, therefore more in tune with us here.
Marisa Peer has enabled me to regain control of my life, my looks, my age and my happiness. For me, she is number 1 among all the transformational/motivational therapists out there. Her hypnotic exercises are fantastic and believe me, they work! but like everything else, you have to be committed a little, otherwise, what is the point? a book alone can't change your life. Only you can but a book or a recording can be great sidekicks. ''You can look Younger'' is a great sidekick and will also make a great present to those who are a little afraid to grow older.
