Through a series of vignettes, Amy Bryant draws us a vivid picture of the life experiences that shaped her from childhood, through adulthood, and finally as a grandmother with married children of her own. The strong ties of family and lifelong friendships also round out her narrative.
Interlaced with rich literary imagery, Ms. Bryant takes us on a journey during which we gain an understanding of how a person's inner strength and sense of self can help her transcend negative environmental experiences and emerge a positive being with a love for all humanity.
Definitely worth reading!
By exploring her past the reader is redeemed with lessons of morals and ethics through the best view, redemption.
Lyrical verse, prose and treasured photos help transport the reader to rich, exotic places and times. Timeless lessons from the heart. Her style invites the the reader to bring their own story and struggles to prevail.
Dear reader, I won't spoil the indulgent lessons of this book, other to then to say the author is a better person then I who makes peace with her oppressors. She uses this strong power to explore and ride the power of love. As only a true princess could.
A must read and should be on all reading lists. The depth of this gem took be surprise and that's always a good!
