Willow Rose is one of my go to authors. I love her work and am so happy to be with her fabulous characters, waiting to see what badness will befall them. I hope you enjoy the RUN.

We begin all over the place as we learn about the characters, flipping back and forth between them, getting their thoughts and feelings first hand.

I was just strolling along until…the open back door of Kelly’s house.

I say yes to the dark side of an author’s imagination!

Cast of characters:

Marcia: a schizophrenic
Mark: Marcia’s son
Mary: Marcia’s friend, and if I am ever in trouble, I would love to have her by my side
Harry: who is he…really?
Peter: has Cerebral Palsy
Kelly: is someone stalking her?

I purposely left out one character, because I want you to meet him for yourself.

Each chapter is told from a character’s point of view. I do like getting the lowdown straight from the horse’s mouth. I feel I get to know them better.

I do wonder how they all will come together. What do they have in common? I know Willow Rose has something in mind, because she always has a diabolical plot brewing, never giving her characters on easy ride. I’m at 44% and I am finding answers to SOME of my questions.

Willow Rose deals with some sensitive issues in a positive, yet at times, cruel way, which comes across as reality. The character of Peter Elingston, cerebral palsy, is true. Google it if you want to know more.

I can’t imagine how terrifying it must be, trapped in your own mind. This applies to Marcia and Peter. It may break your heart, but it left me feeling better when all was said and done. No matter how bad things got, Willow Rose ends it on a positive note.

That's what reading this book seemed to require, running to keep up. This book is great. I did not want to put it down. "You Can Run" has everything a well written thriller should have...mystery, suspense, the idea you know all the answers (and guess what, chapter later, You are unbelievably in left field). I did not want to put the book down. It was super.
I've been reading Willows book to about two years,and this is the first time I read one in this series. I am going to begin reading them soon, as I have all the books in the earlier series.
I would recommend this book and series to anyone who enjoys reading any genre. It is a well put together book with a puzzle that you will enjoy working out.

I haven't read the first book in this series, which is a big mistake. You are thrown into the Gang of 7, but you get no background information on any of them, you just have to pick it up as you go along. Engaging characters and I really liked the treatment of mental illness, but I would have liked getting some idea of who they were and their past history as they were introduced. Most authors do this when it is a series, tuck in backgrounds and their place in the story, but this author seems to assume that one is reading these books in order and you don't need any of that stuff. I have another book by this author so I will suspend judgement until I have read it, but I was somewhat disappointed in this one

So this is the second book in the 7th Street Crew series and I absolutely loved it!! This one hit close to home on 2 different levels for me. The C.P. with one of the characters and the mental illness of another. I think the author did a wonderful job portraying both characters and did not go over the top with them. More twists and turns and just when you think you know something or on the right path.....BAM! She takes you somewhere completely different. Thank you for this wonderful piece of drama. Onto the next one.

Very convoluted story and cast of characters who we never really get to know. Good story but irritating along the way with implausible scenarios. The ending was so rushed it left me totally confused about one random murder which I read twice and still didn’t understand!

To say that the book was meant to concentrate on Mary’s missing brother I found it missed the mark.
