About the Author
ROBERT HERJAVEC is the author of the books, Driven and The Will to Win, that were simultaneous bestsellers on the Globe & Mail list, and enjoyed rave reviews for the quality of their advice and the appeal of their writing style. In addition to his regular spot on Shark Tank, Robert Herjavec is a popular guest on local and network TV news and entertainment shows, where he comments on business-related topics that frequently segue into aspects of his personal life -- such as his penchant for racing million-dollar cars at speeds approaching 200 mph.

Having worked in sales for a long time much of what Robert said rang true. What stuck with me was the concept of using Zen in the sales process by focusing on the customer\client with the purpose of finding an outcome that serves both parties.
I believe this book will help the reader to see sales in a different light in a positive light.
His personal life. He is honest about his meltdown after his divorce, omitting tabloid style details. Some might wonder how his ex and kids handle his success and his moving forward into a marriage with someone new. I think I can answer that one, by stating what I have found to true about men. They are creatures of action and generally stick to what feels good and right. When something turns into failure, they repair it, if they can; or they accept that it cannot be remedied as it was, and move on. As a woman and Mother, my opinion is that in business that works fine. In relationships, and family, the emotions and well being of the people involved are a bit more involved and are complex.
My hope for him, is that his whole family have or can heal alongside, and with him.
